Rajender Pensiya, IAS (AIR 345, CSE 2014) shared his inspirational story in conversation with Success Guru AK Mishra. Rajender Pensiya, born and brought up in a small village of Rajasthan asserted that he was never too good in academics but was always curious to get deeper knowledge & insights into different subjects. His father was into agriculture but his dreams were always bigger for which he received impeccable support from his parents who encouraged him to be a civil servant. The idea to begin the preparation for Civil Services came in his mind when he topped Shikshak Bharti exam in 2004 and got encouragement from his teacher to try for Civil Services. While revealing some success mantras for Civil Services exam, he said that the candidate should not make larger notes, rather should right the important things in bullet points to re-memorize during revision. He also suggested aspirants study NCERT books and read Newspaper thoroughly every day to stay abreast with current affairs. His inspirational story will surely inspire thousands of Civil Services aspirants who consider their rural background as a disadvantage.
