On I Write The B-Sides, freelance journalist and academic Jack Press undergoes adventures in songwriting, exploring the everyday moments that muscle their way into the minds of artists and put pen to paper. It’s about the ways in which the songs we interact with at any given moment are crafted, and the influences and inspirations that bring them to life. It’s about our relationship to music, and the songwriters relationship to their work. Each episode, Jack will be sitting down with a different artist or musician to get the in’s and out’s on how they’ve honed their craft.
