In this episode I share my personal history with medication & how it’s affected my life. There's a huge stigma around ADHD meds and it needs to change if we’re ever going to get the help we need! Left untreated, adult ADHD can cause a constellation of serious but non-specific symptoms that, far too often, lead to a misdiagnosis. Getting proper treatment, however, can be a challenge in and of itself. First and foremost, you need to speak up and to be your own best advocate! But it's not always easy to know how to talk to your doctor about these things.
