This week’s chat is about security. Dave went to a conference and wants to disconnect and move to the woods. We mess with Ken’s new Google Home. Dan is just sort of with us this week due to some technical issues.

Ken got a Google Home… so we played with that a bit.

Dave went to a security conference… and wants to live in the woods because it’s scary.

There’s not security essentials anymore – every step you take you have to be thinking about security. What do you do?

• Put  a sticker over your webcam
• Don’t install things
• SQL Attacks (sanitize inputs)
• Hiding info that is typically released by default (on server)

Many times it’s the human element where a hacker gets through. Education is important.
