Doctor Swathi received her Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from the Medical University of South Carolina College of Pharmacy and her Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Spanish from Carleton College. She is certified Medical Cannabis and is currently pursuing further education in Plant-Based Nutrition from Cornell University and Advanced Preceptorship from the American Pharmacists Association (APhA).

As a leader on both a local and national level, she was elected to the National Board of the Student National Pharmaceutical Association (SNPhA) while in pharmacy school and has since been elected to the Executive Committee of the Greater Los Angeles Pharmacists Association (GLAPhA). She was selected to be a part of the 2019-2020 cohort of the California Pharmacists Association (CPhA) Leader Development Institute (LDI).

As an extension of her experience as the first Integrative Health Pharmacy Resident, she co-founded PharmSupplement, a natural medicine educational platform with online courses (to be released in 2020!) for healthcare professionals and students. Her unconventional training makes her a one-of-a-kind consultant, educator, and professional collaborator in the world of integrative medicine and medical cannabis.

In her free time, she can be found experimenting with vegan recipe development, scoping out the Los Angeles thrift store scene, or planning her next trip (30 countries and counting!).
