We discuss how the new film Beautiful Boy depicts how substance abuse affects addicts and their families and friends. The film's themes are then applied to the current opioid crisis in the United States. We (okay, mainly Brooke) fawn over Timothée Chalamet’s acting performance, and predict his awards season success.
