In today's Hatch Windshield Replacement Tempe Podcast we're going to over some of the common occurrences of windshield damage that take place in the auto glass industry, especially in Arizona, and some of the F.A.Q that revolve around vehicle auto glass.

I'm often asked about why do I need to get my windshield replaced? What's the point, and my personal favorite: it's just a crack bro!? And, I always say - the front windshield is your second line of defense after your seat belt. This defense means your windshield needs to be up to the highest windshield safety standards and kept in the best shape possible, or else possible damage could occur to you upon windshield impact.

Also, you might be surprised to know that your windshield is essential to the functionality of their airbags, and the strength of the car frame. Most importantly .. your windshield can even save from severe injury or possible death. The front windshields life saving capacity can occur when you don't use your seat belt or seat belt is not working correctly. Besides your windshield, there are other types of windows in your car, including the side windows and rear windshield..and these are important to keep a watchful eye on too, especially your car side windows. Which can be prone to break in attempts from strangers.

Lastly, I'm often asked about side windows. These windows help reduce extraneous noise, insulation of your vehicle, and provide better aerodynamics to improve fuel consumption and resistance to wind. These factors keep the frame of your truck into grinding in the event of a rollover. Like most side windows, back and quarters of a vehicle is not likely to be affected or broken during an accident, and this was not a significant concern of automakers until the late 2000s when people kept getting injured in accidents from exploding windshield glass.

Stay safe everyone, and remember if you get a crack need a patch call Hatch Auto Glass!
