The episodes I've heard have been great light entertainment on the surface, and also offered much more once you got past the small talk. Louis never fails to dig into where the 'knots' are in a person's personality or narrative... and that's intensely interesting to me. Boy George I now understand in a completely different way, as with Helena Bonham Carter. Miriam Margoyles was hilarious but also vulnerable. I haven't heard a dud episode. It was also good to hear his style without the distractions of the visuals.

What's not to love? Louis Theroux, fantastic guests (Michaela Cole being my favourite) and great chat. We love Louis.

I love Louis Theroux. He's so charismatic while also being awkward and it just comes off as charming. With this he can get away with asking the most ludicrous, personal questions, and it always makes for interesting, great documentaries. Unfortunately, this podcast didn't do it for me. I'm not usually too keen on straight up interviews, and honestly, most of the guests so far I haven't even known who they were.
