Dr Joanne Liu is a accomplished multi-award winner in the field of humanitarian medicine. She served as the International President of Doctors Without Borders from 2013 - 2019, and has served in the organisation since 1996. With a wealth of experience serving in conflict zones - Palestine, Central African Republic and Sudan’s Darfur region, it was nothing short of an honour to have her on Morning Rounds. Trained in pediatrics, she also has an international master's in health leadership from McGill university.
