I look foreword to the weekly local episodes; they never fail to engage me. The first story about an EU homeless immigrant reflects how we treat the less fortunate; don’t engage but spare them your change. How often do we start a conversation with a homeless person and ask for their names. It’s often easier not to be emotionally invested; we all have problems after all, don’t we? The schoolchildren visitors from areas affected by the Chernobyl radiation aftermath is news to me! I didn’t know that such arrangements have been on place for literately for 3 decades. What a beautiful opportunity for those youths?
