In this Walk With Me Online, former AFL, MVP and dual premiership player, Corey McKernan, is joined by 1993 World Surfing Title Holder Pauline Menczer.
A forgotten Aussie champion and one of the featured women in the new documentary Girls Can't Surf, Pauline discusses the documentary, the fight for equality for women surfers, how she fought crippling rheumatoid arthritis her entire life, how she was without sponsors due to her not having the "right look", and what it means to see women surfers recognised today.
Also joining the interview is Corey's old friend Sophie Marshall, RipCurl Global Product Manager, who set a Go Fund Me page to raise the $25,000 prize money Pauline missed when she won the title. (The amount was smashed with extra money going to charities.)
