Some useful info, especially for people who are struggling with negative body image issues. I'm sure she has helped many people. I think the concept of diet culture is valid. Not quite so convinced about intuitive eating. And I definitely find it wearying how much she pushes her course as the solution to everyone's problems. I am wary of people who offer advice, when the advice for everything is "buy my stuff".

Christy Harrison is a shining light in the toxic world of diet culture and anti-fatness we live in. This podcast is fully size-neutral and acknowledging of systemic anti-fatness, free of food morality and diet culture, and research-based. It's also 100% safe for people with eating disorders to listen to because any diety or otherwise triggering language is bleeped out, and even gentle nutrition is very seldomly mentioned. At nearly 300 episodes now, Food Psych has episodes for nearly everyone, getting into the nitty gritty of relationships to food and body. Christy was one of the people who helped me realize I had an eating disorder to begin with, and also continues to be one of the only eating disorder podcasters that addresses EDs under the OSFED diagnosis in-depth.
