“I am the True Vine.” Jesus’s “I Am” statements have provided us a path to follow in His ministry as described by the apostle John. Last week John described the scene in the upper room as Jesus declared, “I am the way, the truth and the life,” and now we find Jesus and eleven of the disciples enroute to the Garden of Gethsemane when Jesus declares, “I am the true vine.” Today we will discover that without Jesus we can do nothing.
