Al Street – Private Investigator.

Once a Detective Inspector in the Metropolitan Police, Al was forced to leave because a suspected paedophile he had been chasing “accidentally” fell from the roof of a high rise block of flats. 

So Al decides to go it alone. An early client was Mrs Belinda Carter. She wanted him to find her husband. And her story unfolded… 

A fishing boat goes missing with its crew; including her estate agent husband. There is no trace of the boat; no wreckage. It had completely disappeared; vanished; even though there were other fishing boats in the vicinity that night! Nobody around witnessed anything unusual 

Al, accepts the case and travels to Hastings, intent on solving the mystery of the missing fishing boat and the crew of three. And in so doing he uncovers a tale of greed, murder, treachery, and kidnapping.
