sandu and anika discuss south asian representation in the media and experiences in everyday life that segregate us from the mainstream population.  we are so often told that we are progressing as a society and things are getting better for minorities which they certainly have if we compare it to the 20th century. however, by the rate we are going many issues should have already met some form of closure.
