The Great Sand Dunes are home to the Sand Dunes, Aliens, Big Foot, Ant People and the one place the Devil dances during Lent. Here's another rabbit hole for you.

The Great Sand Dunes National park is located in Mosca, Colorado. The park has the tallest sand dunes in North America, which covers 30 Square miles and contain roughly 5 Billion Cubic meters of sand. Humans first inhabited the area over 11,000 years ago. The area offers a unique occurrence in order for the sand be there, basically, it’s the perfect mix of wind and sand recycling that keeps the dunes in the place of an ancient sea floor. Sand mountain climbing, tubing, sand boarding and sand skiing are popular here.The most bizarre aspect isn’t even that the sand dunes sings and hums while it sets off its own vibrations of sounds, or the fact that you can find prehistoric flosses, or the ancient indigenous tribes. The most bizarre events are the never ending UFO sightings, stories of ant people, balls of lights, flying seed pods, the Devil dancing during Lent and animal mutilations.
