In today’s episode, we continue with our discussion on Pat Lencioni’s The Advantage. The book is about creating a healthy organization. We discuss specifically the third habit of building a cohesive leadership team, commitment.
Jesus has built vulnerability-based trust with his disciples. He’s engaged in healthy conflict with his disciples. He allows his disciples to question him and suggest things to him without fear of punishment or reprisal. This leads him to making a decision-the Great Commission as seen in Matthew 28: 18-20-and His disciples both then and now committing to that decision.
To highlight the effectiveness of that commitment and decision, I share three stories about former FOCUS missionaries committing to making disciples.
