Here’s a teaching snippet:
“Today we will turn our attention to one of the most famous Rapture passages in the Bible and this is of course 1st Corinthians 15:50-57. The Latin verb rapio means “to snatch, or seize” and this is where we get the word English word ‘rapture’ from. This passage speaks explicitly of the transformation that will occur when we’re caught up with Jesus ‘in the air’ and our simultaneous transformation into glory, by exchanging our corruptible body into an incorruptible one. Now as you know, we at DHOP believe in the ‘pre-tribulation rapture’ of the church, or ‘the blessed hope’ spoken of in Titus 2:13. The logical question concerning the end times is, ‘How can anyone have ‘hope,’ if we the Bride of Christ will be dragged through the mud, blood and fire in the catastrophic events of the seven year tribulation period?’ There’s no hope whatsoever if that’s the case, yet some Christians wrongly insist on this false premise that we the Church will endure ‘God’s wrath’ because they simply don’t comprehend the love of God the Father. A loving Father would never allow His Son’s bride to endure the very wrath that Jesus took for us on the cross. On seven occasions in the Book of Revelation the tribulation period is described as the ‘wrath of God’ (Rev 19:15, Rev 16:19, Rev 16:1, Rev 15:7, Rev 15:1, Rev 14:10, Rev 14:19).” – Pastor Carl
