Ever wonder about the people in the OT that were not Hebrew? Did God intend to ignore them or what? How about now, what is about those that are not part of the church? Are there those that God is not interested in?
Many people discuss this account of Jesus walking on the water by focusing on Peter's "sinking because he took his eyes of Jesus." But is that what this is really about?
John is beheaded... and Jesus is facing a massive crowd... Ministry never ends... and for disciples, following Christ carries a heavy burden and also a huge blessing.
Jesus carries on His parables with the crowds and privately with the disciples...asking them to consider what the Kingdom of Heaven is like
Jesus suddenly changes direction with His teaching and begins to use parables. Why? What are they? What did He mean by a Sower sowing seed?
Is there a sin that is unforgivable...unpardonable? Continuing with part 2 of a discussion of Jesus' words in Matthew 12

Jesus, when faced with a question about His teaching on fasting, calls Himself "The Bridegroom" and uses an analogy about unshrunk patches and old clothes...and new wine and old wineskins. What is He talking about...and what about fasting?
What does it mean to be called to ministry? How can you know if you are called to ministry? What is it you are listening for? How will you recognize it when you hear it?
Who is Jesus....Did He ever claim to be God...in this section of Scripture, Jesus makes it crystal clear who He is
Jesus explains the cost of following Him...but then, He makes clear that He is THE LORD GOD....and the Disciples find themselves afraid and also questioning - Who Is This?!
After preaching on the mountain...Jesus begins to display the absolute authority behind His words
Jesus takes judging to the next level and makes clear that judging will be necessary because there will be very dangerous people that look just like Believers...among the Believers...that are not at all related to the Lord.
"Only God can judge me!!" I hear it all the time. "Judge not lest ye be judged!" .....Did Jesus really say that we are never to judge anyone?
Should we be fasting? Is being wealthy wrong? Are you worried about it?! lol. What does it mean to seek first His Kingdom?
How often do we do something because we hope to be recognized for it...even secretly? How often do we pray for the same reason, hoping that if we say it right, God must answer the way we want.
When Jesus spoke, He frequently referenced Hell....Was it a real place? Was it eternal? Jesus also goes on here in Matthew 5 to continue His argument that no one is saved by keeping the Law.
