I love this podcast! It's so interesting without being too overwhelming. It's filled with information, facts and stories, but I don't feel like I need a degree in Computer Science to understand what's being discussed. Every single episode teaches me something new and interesting that always starts a conversation. If I want to stimulate my brain, this is the podcast I turn to.
This is an amazing show. Jack Rhysider has done a fantastic job of compiling a show that is a combination of the best of magazine formats like The American Life and true crime but featuring the "Dark Side of the Internet." It can be at times hilarious with exploits to tragic. It is a must listen for anyone who wants a well-crafted and original podcast.
This is brilliant. A real life hi-tech thriller podcast by a talented podcaster.
Great stories, awesome production! One of my "must listen" podcasts! The stories are well-told and interesting, and Jack's telling of them is top-notch. It's obvious that a lot of effort is put into the show and I am always dying to hear the next episode. You won't be disappointed!
Finally a podcast that delves into the hacker side of the net in a story-format! If you love a good true life story and the dark web, then this podcast is a must. Also, Jack's a brilliant host.
Enjoying the first few episodes. Production quality is high and the narrative is engaging. Good god these companies are lazy, arrogant, and reckless with their data security. Mashes me want to change all my passwords immediately!!
Really well done. Always interesting and informative.
I listen to many different things on Audio due to epilepsy. Watching movies of my favorite genres, sci-fi and fantasy, are out due to flashing lights, so audio it is. This Podcast is fantastic! A grain of salt isn't much, and I try and give everyone there fair shake, but have been known to bore rather quickly. This is great, interesting, keeps my interest, and theres passion behind the voice that cant be feigned or faked. Great job and keep up the excellent work!
You'll hear some stuff you didn't think could happen and even the stuff you have heard about Jack usually digs pretty deep and finds out more. Production is amazing, you'll get the theme stuck in your head.
For me, there really is no better podcast for not only my own enjoyment of hacking stories but also for getting other people interested. I have referred several friends that all tell me this is in their top 5 podcasts, never missing an episode and making sure to listen before the next one comes out. Great job Jack.
You rock man, I really enjoy listening to your podcast :)
When I first started listening to his podcast I was blown away at what a good job the host did of describing very technical detail so that even the most layperson can understand it. I stopped listening however when the host started bringing politics into a podcast that has nothing to do with politics.
This podcast tells some amazing stories, although it would be better with less of Jack's analysis and commentary
Great podcast. Enjoyable to understand attack vectors, along with ways to protect myself.
The first episode of this podcast that I listened to was 'notpetya'. I was positively surprised by how the complexity of this interesting story was told in a very structured, calm manner. And every episode of this podcast, that I've listened to, has been as interesting and as well narrated as the first one, I enjoyed. This is one of my regular go-to podcasts.
It's what hooked me onto long form audio content on-demand. I can't praise it enough, especially if you're looking for a mental distraction for monotonous work.
This is the best podcast I have heard yet
Interesting guests with cool stories, but the host clearly has very limited knowledge about a lot of the discussed topics (which is completely understandable and fine), however he does not hesitate to generously insert his uninformed opinion and what he believes to be facts into the episodes. Episodes would be much more enjoyable if he would just shut up and stick to questions to keep the flow going.
