A great original world cyberpunk audio drama.
Impressive worldbuilding, a relatable main character, marvellous music, sound design and stellar acting - not to mention the artwork that was what made me subscribe in the first place - well, you get it all in this show. Prepare to dive in to the world of Neo-Atlantis!
This is a hell of a show. I listened to the first episode and found myself paying more and more attention. It is expertly edited, the sound design is good (though I wish it were a little louder, the disparity between sound design and voices stood out to me as odd), and the voice acting is fantastic. I'm excited to keep listening and listening and listening!
The world of Neo Atlantis is already so vivid, it must be why I'm drowning in some of the best writing, sound design, & voice acting in fiction podcasts right now (& THE MUSIC, my god, the music); subscribe now & dive in with me ??
What a ride! I absolutely loved it! The action, the characters, the soundscaping! And I love Jonny, what a fun character. Absolutely a must listen if you like cyberpunk, great editing and nice voice acting.
There's just nothing going on here and the characters have no personality.
Well made, good voice acting and sound - just the storyline is lacking intensity and didn't really grab me. Reminds me of Leviathan chronicles. will probably tune in if season 2 happens though.
not usually a fan of descriptive narration as I tend to tune it out (I'm aphantasic so I just generally avoid the audiobook-leaning formats) but I like how it's used lightly here & in just the right places. more of a focus on action & cinematic elements then I'm used to, but the story & characters are still alright & the world-building is really good! lots of cool ideas here- I really like the whole re-living other's memories ability.sound design is rly good, still got a bit lost sometimes in sum of the action scenes but usually the narration helped, though sumtimes I found myself timing out a bit. music was pretty good too, rarely went into the overdramatic/bombastic territory which similiar podcasts too often do. voice acting is reaally good! definitely a lot of love poured into this project~ wish it was queerer (tho there is 1 gay character)! I can see how Hannahpocalypse came about from this (highly recommend).
CybernauticaI don't usually respond here to reviews and comments because, quite frankly I always feel that reviews should be a place that fans and critics have the space to say what they thought without a showru…
I loved the worldbuilding in this audio drama! The cast of characters is also really good and while it is dystopic and action packed it is weirdly relaxing to listen to?
