Ben’s #1 Culture-Hack: 1. Recognize (what’s Important) 2. Recover 3. Reinvent

About Our Guest: Ben Morley is an Air Force veteran, serving as a pilot for over 27 years producing awardwinning leadership in both the domestic and international realms. Originally from Friday Harbor on San Juan Island, WA he became the first student in his county to attend a military service academy where he graduated from the Air Force Academy. He has logged over 4,000 hours of flying to include combat time in the C-17, C-141, T-38 and T-37 aircraft. Flying everything from premature babies to classified cargo, he has flown missions to all seven continents. Achievements include serving as Mission Commander airlifting French troops and cargo to Mali for counter-terrorism efforts at the request of the President of France, a member of a sixperson initial cadre standing up a classified airlift program, key support for a hostage rescue in Colombia, creating and executing a humanitarian mission to the South Pacific, becoming the first US military aircraft mission to this region since World War II, and leading a team that helped broker the sale of aircraft to Australia. Ben is also a certified Six Sigma Black Belt and a Lean Practitioner, becoming the first pilot on his Air Force base to achieve this certification. Achievements in this discipline include saving a client over $60,000 in one hour, reducing a building project cost by $1.8M, and streamlining project lead times from days to minutes. His applications in process improvement for the Air Force continue to be used today. He now teaches businesses how to establish clarity and purpose in a time of crisis. Ben has a B.S. in Human Factors Engineering from the U.S. Air Force Academy.
