The interview we're releasing this week is with Jerry, from Chihuahua, Mexico who currently lives in Louisville, KY.
Our brother-in-law Jordan hops in to help Cody with this interview. This was his first experience in interviewing for Culturally Unqualified but we hope to involve him a lot more in the future.
Here are some things Cody and Jordan discuss with Jerry:
If you haven't already go back and check the Beta Episodes* of our Podcast** for Mexico. Find our podcast on iTunes, Stitcher, and Google Play.
One of the hardest and most time consuming pieces of our podcast is the interview. Until we begin gathering momentum there's a lot of emailing random people. If you know anyone from a different culture who might be open to talking to us let us know. If you think of anyone email us here.
PLEASE rate and subscribe. This is a free, easy way to help our community grow! Once again, if you have any critiques or encouragement let us know, your input is incredibly valuable to us!
Also, make sure to follow us on Instagram and Twitter. We use these platforms as ways to involve in interviews and the CU community, who knows we might even give you a shot out in our upcoming episodes!
Our theme music this week was José González- Step Outside and Arvo Pärt- Spiegel im Spiegel
* By Beta we mean a trial episode. We are releasing four episodes during the summer to get feedback and improve our style. Then this fall we will release our first season of 8-10 episodes and do the same the following spring.
**A podcast is a digital audio file made available on the Internet for downloading to a computer or mobile device, typically available as a series, new installments of which can be received by subscribers automatically. It's kind of like a downloadable radio program.
