This week, guest preacher Daniel Bidne from Providence Church taught on Colossians 4:2-6. In these verses, we learn that because Christ is supreme, we are to respond both personally and missionally. We look up and pray, staying devoted to prayer and alert with thanksgiving. What do we thank God for? First and foremost, we thank God daily for the mystery of the Gospel. 

Then, we look around and proclaim the Gospel to those around us. The Gospel doesn't go forth with our actions—it goes forth with proclamation. While our actions reflect what we believe, they don't ultimately save people. We are sovereignly placed by God exactly where we're at in order to live evangelically on mission for his Gospel! Praise God!
