An excellent example of how blind people can be to themselves - an unsourced podcast bitching about how the media produces unsourced stories, and a perfect example off how stupid the hard left can be while complaining about how stupid the right is for doing exactly the same things they do here. All in all, a perfect example of hypocrisy in action.
Great ad-free pod that dissects the MSM narratives.
Neema & Adam produce excellent, insightful media criticism that delves deep into the invisibilized narratives that bombard us every day. Their guests often offer significant perspectives that give the lie to the obscured ideology of mainstream news media.
superb analysis of media tropes and their effects on society and politics
I'm very interested in media and journalism criticism, but this wasn't the show for me. Because it only focuses on mistakes and blind spots, it came across as slanted against journalism, and I didn't feel like this was an altogether intellectually honest look at the industry. Also, it is very long and frequent. I think if it were shorter and better edited, I might keep up with it.
Really great podcast that challenges media narratives in mainstream/corporate/liberal media. They live up to their name and are good at citing all their claims so you can always do further research on any episode/topic
Vibe: leftist dudebros leftist dudebroing. It is what it is. Interviews > banter.
I adore all media that does a stellar job of debunking and critiquing common myths and propaganda. Citations Needed does all this and more; I appreciate the knowledgeable guest speakers that the hosts interview. Good-natured sarcasm and witty banter peppered throughout make the podcast fun to listen to.
