Good morning, everyone. It's Todd. And

0:11

Julie. With Conversions. How

0:13

are you this morning? I'm doing

0:16

okay this morning. Well, good.

0:18

Good. Yep.

0:19

In a rough week already, but I'm

0:21

doing okay. Well, I mean, I think

0:23

that, you know, rough is rough is all

0:26

and perspective. Yes. I

0:28

mean, some people would not say that we've had it roughly.

0:31

Right. Some people who is

0:33

sitting in a hospital room right now

0:35

asking God, why is my child in diagnosed

0:37

with cancer? God, why is my child gonna

0:39

be taken? Does not consider our weight

0:41

to be rough? That's right. So

0:46

you know, lots of stuff going on.

0:48

Yes. Lots of stuff going on.

0:50

Yes. And, you know, we're

0:52

blessed to be here to do the podcast today

0:55

and blessed to get up every day with God

0:57

giving us the renewed energy to continue

1:00

the fight that we're fighting. And to

1:02

allow us to continue to move forward. So

1:05

for that, I am grateful. Julie,

1:08

you have had you

1:11

know, we've got company coming today --

1:13

Mhmm. -- at three. But, you know,

1:15

we had a

1:17

powerful prayer session yesterday

1:21

with our friend, Lynn. Mhmm.

1:24

I had to church last night with Savannah.

1:26

That was amazing. You

1:29

know, about prayer and fasting,

1:32

which is something that My grandparents

1:34

used to I personally have never done. I have

1:36

an either. And I

1:38

would urge you, you know, his

1:40

his thing was if you were

1:42

praying and you keep praying and you keep

1:44

praying and you're not seeing results.

1:48

The bible says that when

1:51

you put fasting with

1:53

prayer, it becomes

1:55

more fervent. And there's

1:57

many different kinds of fast that you can

1:59

do, again, not a medical professional, and

2:01

he he made that very clear. You don't

2:03

have to do a water cleanse where you don't

2:06

drink anything but water. But it's taking

2:08

something that you

2:10

enjoy. Whether it's whether

2:12

it's soda, whether it's dessert, whether

2:14

it's whether whatever. Taking

2:16

that out of your life for

2:18

a certain amount of time, and

2:21

incorporating that extra prayer

2:23

time. And

2:25

so I that was very intriguing

2:28

to me because I had I don't I don't

2:30

know that I've ever really heard

2:33

sermon on fasting and this

2:35

particular church where Savannah and I went

2:37

last night, they are starting a fourteen

2:39

day prayer and fast

2:42

starting today. So that was

2:44

kind of the the preface of the sermon.

2:47

So I urge you to look up in the bible

2:49

what it says about fasting and

2:53

because I know I'm gonna I'm gonna look into it

2:56

and just read more about it and learn

2:58

more about it because I know there are times in

3:00

my life when I feel like I'm praying and I'm

3:02

praying and I'm praying and nothing's happening.

3:05

And I also believe and just

3:07

like the pastor said last night, sometimes

3:10

we don't believe anything's happening

3:12

because we don't shut up long enough

3:14

to hear it. We

3:17

are so busy. Praying for this

3:19

and praying for that and asking for this and asking

3:21

for that. When we should be

3:23

waiting and

3:25

listening

3:29

for god to speak to us and for the

3:31

holy spirit to be there,

3:33

but we're so busy asking

3:35

that we can't we can't stop to listen.

3:38

And I know that I have been guilty of that

3:40

so many times in my life. So

3:43

that sermon really resonated with me

3:45

last night. In

3:48

that, sometimes we have to wait, and

3:51

sometimes we have to listen. And

3:53

just because you pray for something, mean

3:57

that it's going to be granted to

3:59

you ever because it

4:01

may not be God's will, or

4:03

it might not be God's timing, or

4:06

God might have something better for you than

4:08

what you're praying for. But

4:10

I it it was a very very good

4:12

message and great music. And

4:15

I was glad that I went because

4:18

emotionally yesterday was a very

4:20

trying day for me. So

4:22

I was like, I

4:25

know that's the devil that was saying, Julie,

4:27

don't go. Just stay at home. Just

4:30

getting bed early. Mhmm. Just don't do that.

4:32

And I didn't I didn't I

4:34

I said, you know what? I'm going. And

4:36

I'm so glad that I did. I'm so

4:38

glad that Well, now I think it goes back to, you

4:40

know, what I had said to you yesterday that

4:43

we as humans, we

4:45

try to find hope, and

4:48

we try to find all of our comforts

4:51

in the materiality of the world.

4:54

Of the flesh of the world. Right.

4:56

And the scripture clearly says

4:58

that our hope comes from our Lord and

5:00

Savior, Jesus Christ. Not

5:02

from the not from the material elements

5:05

of this earth -- Mhmm. -- are of

5:07

the flesh. Right. And when I

5:09

talk about that, I think that

5:13

I think that for

5:15

me and you and you

5:17

and I had a very candid conversation yesterday,

5:19

I said I think you're looking for hope.

5:22

In people. In people. And I

5:24

don't. I love the life and golf. That's

5:27

just because that's how I'm wired.

5:30

I am wired to see the

5:32

best in people. I'm wired

5:34

to see the good in people. I'm

5:36

wired to think that, you

5:38

know, they maybe they've made

5:40

mistakes, but you know what?

5:43

If they can change, and

5:45

I I try to always see

5:47

the good in someone. You know

5:49

that. And know that's how I am. And

5:51

even though time and time again, I'm disappointed

5:54

and people make decisions that are

5:56

are like, I

5:59

knew they were gonna do that or you say, you

6:01

knew they were gonna do that. There's

6:04

still a part of me that holds out for

6:06

the good. And I think that

6:08

is where it's it

6:10

it it bites

6:13

me in the butt sometimes because I

6:15

hold out are the good in people thinking,

6:17

but they're gonna do the right thinking.

6:19

Eventually, they're going to do the right

6:21

thing because I can tell

6:23

you I don't set out to

6:25

ever do the wrong thing. Do I do the

6:27

wrong thing sometimes we all make mistakes?

6:29

Well, I do. I think we all make mistakes I

6:31

don't set out to do the wrong thing, but

6:34

I do wrong things. Right. I

6:36

mean, you're like, when I go after people that I

6:38

think are just

6:40

trashy and acting trashy and

6:42

having trashy conduct that

6:45

come after us, you know, then

6:47

I wanna out there. Right. And

6:49

I know that's not god's

6:51

way because god says that revenge

6:53

of mine say at the lower. Did he take

6:55

care of those people? Yes. And

6:58

I and I'm like but god, I know

7:00

that you're overloaded right now. I know you've passed

7:02

a forty hour work week. Let me

7:04

help you. I got some time to lift you up.

7:06

But that's But God did not put out a help

7:08

warranted sign for time prison to step up and

7:10

do what and help him out. No.

7:12

He did not. And I think you and I,

7:14

but heads on that so

7:17

many times because I'm like, just

7:19

let it go. And you view

7:21

it as they're waiting. They're

7:23

getting one of our own -- I don't -- I don't -- --

7:25

I don't -- -- getting away with something.

7:27

But if we truly believe that

7:29

God is all knowing, all

7:31

all present everywhere

7:34

all the time, then

7:36

he's seeing it. And they're

7:38

going to get it. It might we might

7:40

not see it just like we talk

7:42

about on this podcast all the time. Just

7:44

like with social media, we see the good that

7:46

we always do what people want us to see.

7:49

God's gonna be getting them back in ways.

7:51

We have no idea. But

7:53

at night, In the dead of the night,

7:55

they're suffering. Are there they've

7:57

got issues that we don't they're not gonna

7:59

share it with the world. They're not gonna share it with

8:01

social media. Right. I mean, I think

8:03

that, you know, a prime example of

8:05

that, you know, came to us

8:07

several weeks ago, because,

8:10

you know, everyone knows about battle that we've

8:12

had with the Georgia Department of Revenue, everybody

8:14

knows about, you know, everything that

8:16

that well, let me rephrase that. The

8:19

world thinks they know everything

8:21

that's going on in our life. The world

8:23

thinks that they know all of the arrows

8:25

that are being sunniness, but you

8:29

know, as far as the Georgia Department

8:31

of Revenue goes, I mean, that speaks

8:33

for itself. So many people lost their

8:36

jobs, particularly, you

8:38

know, Josh swipes. And,

8:41

you know, the

8:44

we find out last week.

8:46

Now this is someone who supposedly was

8:50

this upstanding police officer

8:53

that was said that he was not standing officer, and

8:55

he was doing all this other, you know,

8:57

the various stuff. What

8:59

we find out last week

9:01

through you know,

9:03

information that was sent to us that

9:05

he and his wife have

9:07

a porn site. And that

9:10

they're selling their porn videos for two

9:12

ninety nine, I'm just

9:14

saying to myself, I

9:16

ain't showing you my pee pee for two

9:18

ninety nine. I'm

9:21

not going down that road. And I

9:23

mean and, you know, for all of

9:25

you porn connoisseurs out there, that

9:27

shirt thing, that shirt thing, It's

9:30

not something that I partake in.

9:33

Have I seen it when I was younger?

9:35

Yes. But when I've seen it. It was

9:37

still on BHS tapes that me and my

9:39

brothers was passing around and they were standing from

9:41

one dad to the next. So,

9:43

yes, I've seen it. But, I mean,

9:45

as a mother of children to

9:49

have a porn site that

9:51

is so provocative. That

9:53

you're showing all of your business,

9:55

you're showing yourself having inner

9:57

course, and you're charging

9:59

two ninety nine to

10:02

people, to watch you do this,

10:04

and you have a young son

10:06

at home, and you have

10:08

daughters. And you're saying,

10:10

this is okay. I mean,

10:12

when that information was delivered to

10:14

us, the first thing I wanted to do,

10:16

what did I say I wanted to do?

10:18

I wanted to post it.

10:21

And what did you say to me? Don't. You

10:24

said, tithe, do not do that. Because

10:27

then you harm their children.

10:30

And I said, but they don't care.

10:33

They've they've harmed mine. Well,

10:35

folks, that's not the right approach.

10:37

That's the devil sitting in there

10:39

and saying, Todd, I sent

10:41

this information to you, you

10:43

use this to show what kind of

10:45

people they are, to show the

10:47

lack of character that they have,

10:49

to show the lack of morals that they

10:51

have. Todd, you do

10:53

this. And I'm thinking this woman

10:55

is, like, involved in her son's

10:57

school on, like, the PTA or something.

11:00

I mean, she she claims to

11:02

be a fitness instructor. I mean, this

11:04

woman but

11:06

yet, she's doing poor now. And

11:08

even bad porn. I

11:10

mean, I listen, some chicks are out here

11:12

doing porn and they're making bank.

11:16

You were just looking to pay your

11:18

Internet subscriber at two ninety nine

11:20

a pop. So

11:22

I'm like, no. I really wanna post

11:24

this. I'm gonna post this. I'm gonna tell

11:26

this. And I had to pray about it, and I

11:28

was like, I don't think that I'm

11:30

supposed to do this. I think

11:32

Julie's right. I think

11:34

that these people are

11:36

hurting because why a

11:38

married man would would think that

11:40

it's okay for his wives. To

11:42

post these kind of videos for other

11:45

men to see his

11:47

wife in these acts

11:49

says that he has no respect for

11:51

her. That he

11:53

doesn't value her body. He doesn't

11:55

value his relationship with her

11:58

and that she is nothing

12:00

but a vehicle to

12:03

a PayPal account.

12:07

And so I thought and then I thought, you

12:09

know, what Lowe's self esteem

12:11

this woman must have because she's

12:13

gotta be in her fifties. I mean,

12:15

listen, I'm in my fifties. I'm fifty

12:17

four. But

12:22

some people just like spandex

12:24

is not made for every person in

12:26

the world. Just because you can buy

12:28

it, that means you should wear it.

12:30

Just because you do porn,

12:32

doesn't mean you should do porn.

12:35

And let's just face it.

12:38

Bad boob jobs and

12:40

women over fifty that have not taken

12:42

care of their bodies they should not be out

12:44

here doing porn. That's just my

12:46

opinion. But and

12:48

just and don't get it twisted because

12:50

someone has seen your porn Don't

12:52

get it twisted that they admire your

12:54

point. Don't get it twisted that you're doing

12:56

a great job and that you're getting

12:58

people to come back. The fact that you had set

13:00

your price at two ninety nine says you

13:02

know your value. But

13:04

I listened to you, and

13:06

that goes back to that

13:10

we have to surround ourselves with people

13:12

that will hold us accountable. Right?

13:14

So I did not post

13:16

those nights. But now I'm gonna tell you,

13:18

Julie, every day, the

13:21

devil works on me and says, Todd, I'm I'm

13:23

ashamed to eat. That the

13:25

old tide would have already blasted

13:27

them. The old tide would have shown

13:29

Georgia exactly who they

13:31

hired and what kind of conduct they

13:33

participate in. How this is a

13:35

person who is supposed to be over

13:38

arresting people. This is a person who's

13:40

supposed to be upholding the law.

13:42

This is a person who's supposed to have a

13:45

high moral character.

13:47

The devil does come at me with

13:49

that. But I don't I

13:51

I've not succumbed to that. So when you say that

13:54

the devil was saying, yes, that you just go to

13:56

bed, don't go to church.

13:58

That's when I say that

14:01

the devil, the closer

14:04

you get to your finish

14:06

line, to the finish line that God has set up

14:08

for you, the harder the devil's gonna

14:10

come at you. Right. And

14:12

we're not faith we're not facing to our

14:14

knowledge a death sentence. Right.

14:16

Neither one of us are dying of cancer that we

14:18

know of. Right. I mean, I could die of a heart attack. I

14:20

mean, look, what happened to the young kid on the football

14:22

failed? Yeah. I mean, unduly.

14:24

And, you know, we got on our knees and

14:26

prayed for him. Yeah. And said, God, please

14:28

deliver this young man. You know,

14:30

he's got his whole life in front of

14:32

him. So right

14:35

now, during this podcast, at

14:37

this moment that I say this,

14:39

there are so many more

14:41

people that are facing far worse than what

14:43

we're facing. And I think

14:45

that that's why I'm in a

14:47

better place with it because

14:49

I know that this is not

14:52

my final destination. I know

14:54

that this may be my future for a

14:56

minute, but I also

14:58

have faith that the judicial system is

15:00

going to turn it around. I also have faith that

15:02

the appellate court is going to see this for what

15:04

it is. And,

15:06

you know, we've made it we've intentionally

15:08

not talked about the case because we've

15:10

been asked not to. We're gonna let our attorneys do

15:12

the speaking on that. And I think

15:14

that, you know, Alex Little plans

15:16

on doing interviews, I think, starting

15:18

next week. And

15:21

that's sweat. You know, that's just kind of where

15:23

where things are. I'm

15:31

Chrisley. Join me for the southern

15:34

tea. It's a weekly heart to heart from this

15:36

southern girl and boy mom who's

15:38

just trying to navigate life.

15:40

Nothing is off limits. I talk about

15:42

it all. Life, career,

15:44

family, motherhood, faith, and

15:46

everything in between. It's

15:48

an ongoing station and I can promise you

15:50

one thing. I'm spilling tea.

15:52

The whole tea and nothing

15:54

but the tea. So listen to and

15:56

follow the southern tea. Now on

15:58

Apple Podcasts, Spotify, and

16:00

wherever you listen to podcasts.

16:10

But I wanted to talk about

16:13

finding hope in man

16:16

versus god. And

16:18

when we start finding hope, that,

16:22

man, this attorney is gonna do this. He's

16:24

gonna make this happen. This

16:26

attorney can only do what God allows

16:28

him to do. This

16:30

doctor who says I can save your

16:32

mother. This doctor can

16:34

only save your mother if

16:36

God puts his hand on that surgeon's

16:38

hand and says, I'm going to allow you to

16:40

heal her. That's

16:42

what it comes down to. It

16:45

everything and every

16:47

passage in light is God

16:49

ordained. Now when I say that

16:51

God has a road map that was created

16:53

for us before we were even conceived.

16:55

The bible says that I knew you

16:57

before you were conceived. The

16:59

bible says that God knows every hair on

17:01

our head. And

17:04

if that's the case, then

17:06

God also knows how we are going to

17:08

walk through that valley that he knew that

17:10

he prepared for us. He also

17:13

knows why he created the valley.

17:15

It could be generational curses. It could

17:17

be whatever. But

17:21

God's promise is is that his plans

17:23

are too prosper to not and not

17:25

to harm. And it's hard

17:28

when you get wrapped around that axle

17:30

of but, god, what are your plans

17:32

to prosper us? How are you prospering

17:34

us when we're in prayer

17:36

every day on our knees begging,

17:38

begging, begging, begging, god

17:41

allow the truth to be revealed.

17:43

God shed light where there's darkness. But

17:45

when you say that, then, you know, when

17:47

there's gonna be light, there's gonna be

17:49

heat. So you gotta be willing

17:51

to stand in the

17:52

heat. And just because we

17:54

pray for something and what

17:57

just because you pray doesn't

17:59

mean what you're praying for

18:02

is what God has in store for you. Right.

18:04

We could be praying

18:06

that God, please let me look like

18:08

I did when I was twenty five years old.

18:12

I still woke up this morning, and I still looked at four

18:14

years old. But you

18:15

looked down fifty four years old.

18:18

But at the end of the day,

18:21

we may be praying

18:23

for the wrong things.

18:26

Right? And we have to

18:28

learn to pray for

18:30

God's will to be done, not

18:32

thy will to be done.

18:34

And when we get over

18:36

into that kind of

18:38

prayer, to where we say, God,

18:40

I'm on my knees with you

18:42

this morning. I

18:44

wanna pray for my friend,

18:46

Priscilla, who is facing stage

18:48

four cancer. That is spread to her

18:50

lungs, who has three

18:52

children that she that

18:54

she is fighting so hard to to here

18:56

on this earth and to be their mother and to raise

18:58

them. God, I pray for a complete

19:00

healing for her. I pray if it is

19:02

your will. That you heal

19:04

this woman and allow her to

19:06

finish her journey on this earth and

19:08

raising her children. If

19:10

it is your will, God,

19:13

if it is your will to heal

19:15

Michael Meaters, Amy Meaters, folks,

19:17

my future daughter-in-law, her father. If

19:19

it is your will, to

19:21

heal Michael. God I asked for

19:24

complete healing. Mhmm. And if

19:26

it is not your will to heal these

19:28

two people, then

19:30

give us the grace

19:32

to walk the path of understanding

19:35

to them, with

19:37

them, and to know that where

19:39

they're heading is far greater than

19:41

where they're leaving. You know, I

19:43

get a I you know, I'm losing my

19:45

aunt right now. My an aunt that I love

19:47

dearly my aunt, Jane, my

19:49

dad's surviving sibling, he

19:51

was one of eight. She is the

19:53

last of those eight, and my mother

19:55

is the last surviving

19:58

spouse. Of the age of the

20:00

eight siblings. So

20:02

my mother and my aunt Jane

20:04

had been like sisters since the day that my

20:06

mother married, my And

20:08

this is very hard on all of us because my aunt Jane

20:10

is a good, decent, godly

20:12

woman who has just

20:15

been She was

20:17

she was a woman that was ahead

20:19

of her time. This was a

20:21

woman who went out and went to college

20:23

and got a college degree when women were not doing that. They

20:25

were at home trying to learn how to bake a cake, make

20:27

sure it didn't follow when you when someone

20:30

ran to the house. Not

20:32

my aunt Jane. My

20:34

aunt Jane was going to college and

20:36

put herself through college. She

20:38

became she started out as

20:40

a secretary. And

20:42

then she moved from that to being over

20:44

the secretarial poll of

20:47

over five hundred women.

20:49

And then she moved from that

20:51

to being the first female executive with

20:53

a with a construction company,

20:56

Floyd Daniel, they'd never had a woman

20:58

in this position. And

21:01

my aunt Jane, who was a

21:03

great basketball player, who

21:06

was very witty, who

21:10

had no boundaries placed on her. She broke

21:12

all the glass ceilings. She

21:15

was not a bra burner because

21:17

she always believed that babes

21:19

better supported than they did hanging. But

21:23

she did her part in the

21:25

liberation of women by

21:27

educating herself and by being

21:29

a champion of

21:31

other women, of

21:33

supporting women and sing, but I

21:35

did it in so can you. I'm

21:37

here today, but you can be here tomorrow.

21:40

I want to help

21:42

you be the very best you can

21:44

be. And now this woman at

21:46

eighty six, is all life support.

21:48

They're removing her from it this

21:50

morning. And the

21:52

doctors have said that it will be a matter

21:54

of That there activity left. And this

21:56

woman was a woman of heart.

21:58

Insulin. Insulin. This

22:01

woman's handwriting would

22:03

make you weep at how good

22:05

her handwriting was. And folks,

22:07

this was self taught. And

22:10

this woman, I know when she draws her

22:12

last, but I personally believe

22:15

that she's already transcended. already

22:17

believe that her soul has already entered the gate

22:19

the the gates of the Kingdom of heaven. I

22:22

believe that my dad has a smile

22:24

on his face from ear to ear because

22:26

they were the two closest. I

22:29

believe that my aunt Jane is

22:31

in the arms of her mother and father and

22:33

of my and of my

22:35

dad and of her sister, Francis,

22:37

who she worshiped the ground that she walked

22:39

on and my aunt, Brandy folks, let me

22:41

tell you something. Had there been a it

22:43

had this show come along with my dad

22:46

siblings were alive, it

22:48

would have been bigger than

22:50

it's ever been because they

22:52

were true comedy, and they never even knew

22:54

they were funny. It's just the things that came

22:56

out of their mouth. But, you

22:59

know, I'm losing her

23:01

probably today, but

23:03

I'm not weeping. Right.

23:05

Have you noticed that? Yeah.

23:07

I'm not weeping, and God has taken that

23:10

for

23:10

me. He has. Because I think you

23:12

think back to because you've we've

23:14

had these conversations, how good she

23:16

was to you. Yes. And how she would always,

23:18

you know, help you with buying

23:20

clothes for school to make sure you had

23:22

Well well, it's been great. Well, my

23:25

mother always paid for my clothes, but my aunt

23:27

Jane would take me the hobbies and grameble

23:29

at Macallister Square, and

23:31

she taught me about fashion. Right.

23:34

And she would say, now make sure your belt

23:36

matches your sheet. Yeah. Then make

23:38

sure, Todd, you can't go wrong with browns.

23:40

So browns are always good. Well, now,

23:43

My aunt Jane knows that I got away from Browns

23:45

because I felt Browns were boring. Mhmm.

23:47

But she was that

23:50

inspiration. My aunt Jane was

23:52

the first person to introduce me to

23:54

Chick fil A in the Haywood

23:56

Mall, and they're carrot

23:58

salad. And I remember she would

24:00

take me to lunch all these

24:02

different places, and she would take me to

24:04

this comedy club in downtown Rainbow

24:06

for lunch. And

24:08

she wanted to expose me to so many different things.

24:11

And those are the stories that I've shared

24:13

with you over the past week.

24:15

Over all of the things that she

24:17

would

24:17

say, time you can be anything you wanna

24:20

be. You are not limited to

24:22

Westminster, South Carolina. If

24:23

you wanna be if you wanna if you

24:25

wanna be an actor, go to

24:27

LA. You can do that. It may not

24:30

be easy, but you can do it. You got the

24:32

looks. You

24:34

got the personality. You

24:37

gotta work. If you wanna go

24:39

to New York, go to New York. You

24:41

got family there. That's where our family

24:44

is. Go to New York.

24:47

Westminster is not big enough to hold

24:49

you. You are too

24:51

big for where you come from,

24:53

and that will not be recognized by people

24:55

that are smaller minded than what

24:57

your mind can conceit. I

25:01

remember that and I had lived

25:03

with that. So

25:05

this podcast has turned into

25:07

a celebration of life

25:09

for my aunt Jane. Because

25:11

this is a woman who you love dearly

25:13

-- Yes. -- who has been so good

25:15

to you and who you've been so

25:17

good to her and who loved

25:19

you, like a daughter. Well, really, you are

25:22

the daughter. She never had. And,

25:25

you know, this

25:27

is a woman who is just

25:29

class personified. She would

25:31

just I can remember, you

25:33

know, being out of her front yard and

25:35

she lived in this, you know, in this lovely neighborhood in

25:37

Greenville, South Carolina, Delaware

25:40

State. And, you know, I I can

25:42

remember my you know, we would go

25:44

there every weekend. My mom and dad would take us

25:46

there because my dad was so close to

25:48

her. And we

25:50

would drive through Gower Estates, and I see these

25:52

homes that I'd be like, one day.

25:55

One day, I'm gonna live on Parkinson's Mill

25:57

Road. That's where I'm

25:59

gonna lay out. I'm gonna live on Parkinson's

26:01

Mill Road, and

26:03

my kids are gonna go to Collins

26:05

Elementary. And

26:07

I would say to her, Jane, I'm

26:09

when when I get big and I get a job,

26:11

I'm gonna live over here where you live. I'm

26:13

gonna live in hour, and I'm gonna live off of

26:15

Park and Smell Road because those houses are nicer than

26:18

the street that you live on on Wimbley.

26:20

The streets on Wim the houses on Wimbley are

26:22

smaller than the ones on Park and Smells, so wanna live

26:24

on Parkin's mail. And she said,

26:26

darling, you can. You

26:28

can. She said, it's all in how you

26:30

carry yourself. She says, that's all in never

26:32

placing boundaries or limitations on what you can drain.

26:34

If you can drink it, you can achieve

26:37

it. And I remember

26:40

washing her car because she would always come up with jobs for

26:42

me to do to where I could make money, to

26:44

where she could pay me money. And

26:46

I was washing her car

26:49

and me and me and her daughter

26:51

who struggled throughout her

26:53

life. We were out there

26:55

and we she and I

26:57

were. Arguing and front fussy

26:59

and and cursing. And

27:01

my aunt Jane came out to the front to

27:03

she called her front lawn. She

27:07

goes, My heavens.

27:10

What are the neighbors going

27:12

to think here in such coming from

27:15

your mouths? Acting like you've had no

27:17

razin. You know

27:19

better. Shook your miles

27:21

and get that car washed and get it pulled

27:23

back into the garage. As

27:25

she went back inside. And so

27:27

her famous line that we quoted

27:29

for our entire life from that

27:32

point forward when anyone cursed or said something

27:34

inappropriate, we'd say, my god

27:36

in heaven, what's the neighbors don't

27:38

think. And she'd

27:40

say, well, I wouldn't worry about the

27:42

neighbors now. She said after everything you've done when

27:44

you've been an adult. So

27:47

It is a celebration of life because she was

27:50

funny and she was charismatic and she

27:52

was compassionate. She was a

27:54

kind decent, honorable human

27:56

being. And I

27:58

want her to pass in peace.

28:00

I want her to be in the arms of

28:02

her loved ones. I want I

28:04

know that she's going to have a celebration of life. Her

28:07

celebration of life begins

28:10

at the moment of her misery

28:12

on this earth and And

28:14

folks, regardless of how good we have

28:16

it here, it's a miserable

28:19

existence compared to what

28:21

our glory will be. When

28:23

we receive our true eternal

28:25

salvation by entering the kingdom of

28:28

heaven.

28:28

Absolutely. Absolutely. And

28:31

she was so good to me. I

28:33

remember the first time I ever met

28:35

her. She was still working.

28:38

And we were we

28:40

went over and you introduced me to her. And it

28:42

was, like, from that day on, it was

28:44

it was she

28:47

was just class personified.

28:49

That's what you get that's what you have to say.

28:51

Just just class

28:52

personified. So with that, I

28:55

think we should start taking a

28:57

few collars.

28:58

Hey, Tommy, Julie. I

29:00

just wanted to tell you guys, I love

29:02

your shows, I love your family,

29:06

I'm just gonna keep praying for

29:07

you. I'm just gonna keep praying

29:10

that somehow this works out

29:12

and that you are continue to

29:14

be released

29:15

pending appeal.

29:16

I love

29:17

you guys. I will keep praying for

29:19

you. I know Todd, you said you

29:21

had to be about what people are

29:23

praying for. I will only

29:26

pray for the best for you and your

29:28

beautiful family. And

29:30

that this gets resolved. It is

29:32

not fair that people lie on

29:34

the witness stand and

29:36

that reflected that on

29:38

your case. That is absolutely

29:40

not fair. I'd love

29:42

you please stay

29:44

in a good mind space. And

29:46

know that your fans are gonna be here.

29:48

We love you and we'll always be here

29:50

for you.

29:53

Thank

29:53

you so much for that.

29:56

Thank you so much for the support. The

29:58

outpouring of support that we have

30:00

received has been

30:02

just I I can't even tell you what it's done.

30:04

So and and the fact that you

30:06

are praying and praying specifically,

30:10

we we we appreciate that

30:12

we don't take it lightly because listen,

30:15

everybody has hard things they're going

30:17

through and the fact that you are

30:19

taking time out of your day to

30:21

pray for our well-being. And

30:23

for our situation, we just

30:25

wanna say thank you. And

30:28

we Just

30:30

thank you. Thank you so much for taking

30:32

the time to call because your, you know, your

30:34

prayers are appreciated and we

30:36

are grateful for those positive. There's positive

30:39

prayers in the positive words and,

30:41

you know, through God be the glory. And,

30:43

I mean, and I I truly do thank you

30:45

very much for

30:46

that. Hey, y'all.

30:54

It's Savannah Chrisley, and

30:56

I got a new podcast titled Unlock.

30:58

We're creating a space for people to

31:00

truly be

31:01

vulnerable. You're used

31:02

to seeing having to have

31:04

this picture perfect bow on the life that

31:06

I live, and frankly, that's not who

31:09

I am. I'm a little wild,

31:11

I'm a little crazy, and

31:13

I love really, really hard. I really hope

31:15

that you'll join me every Tuesday

31:17

as I bring on friends, family,

31:19

and some guests that I'm

31:21

pretty sure you're gonna recognize. Listen

31:24

and follow unlocked now

31:26

on Apple Podcasts, Spotify,

31:28

Amazon Music, YouTube, or

31:31

favorite podcast app.

31:40

Next caller,

31:45

please? Hi, Chrisley.

31:48

This is Judy from Alabama.

31:50

And I have watched every show you've ever made

31:52

and listened to every podcast. And

31:55

I have a question about

31:58

the ending of each

32:00

episode online on

32:02

the TV show where

32:04

you all come in the bedroom to say,

32:06

good night, I love love love

32:08

love that. And I just wondered what prompted

32:11

that to be added to

32:14

the the ending of your

32:16

show. Thank you, and god bless.

32:19

Thank you, Judy from Alabama.

32:21

That was prompted. That has been our

32:23

routine, our entire ever since you and I've been

32:25

married, ever since we've had kids. Julie

32:28

was very adamant that the kids sleep in

32:30

their own beds up

32:32

until Grayson And

32:34

he was, what, five weeks early?

32:37

No. He was eleven. He was eleven

32:39

weeks early. And Julie Nine

32:41

weeks early, and Julie would not allow him to

32:43

sleep in his nursery. So

32:46

he ended up starting out in in

32:48

a cradle beside my bed because

32:50

Judah could sleep in a train station and not wake up. But

32:52

he could move and I was awake.

32:54

So it just he kinda transitioned at

32:56

night when I would we would get up

32:58

to feed him. I'd feed him

33:00

and he'd be laying in my arms. I'd just let him lay

33:02

there beside me and I'd go back to

33:05

sleep. But every night,

33:07

our kids would come to our room, and they would say

33:09

I'd they would say, good night. I

33:11

love you. They'd give us a hug. Give us

33:13

a kiss. And a lot of times, we'd go

33:15

to their room. And say, you know, make

33:17

sure they were in their bed. Everything was

33:20

turned off. And, you know, good night.

33:22

And we love you. I'll see you in

33:24

the morning. And it was our way

33:26

of reassuring our children every night

33:28

of their life. The last word

33:30

you will hear from us is I

33:32

love you. And I will see you in the

33:34

morning because I never wanted my children

33:36

to not know or to have even

33:38

questioned that

33:40

The last thing we had to say was, I

33:42

loved you. Right. And I still do that to

33:44

this day. I mean, every night of our

33:47

life, we text with our children.

33:49

Good night. I you. Yes. Sun

33:51

sleep well. Every

33:53

morning, the first text I send out every

33:55

morning about children, good morning. I

33:57

hope you slept well. I loved you. And then Savannah's

34:00

always the last to respond because she's the last

34:02

one to get up. is

34:05

always the first one to respond because Nick's

34:07

up by what? Five thirty? Nick's up by

34:09

five thirty, no later than

34:11

five forty five. So he's the

34:13

early So he'll come back and he'll just say,

34:15

good morning, pops. I'll step, okay, how about

34:18

you? Then about eight

34:20

thirty, eight forty five, Sebano Bay, good morning.

34:23

And I I know if it's good morning, then she had

34:25

a good night's sleep. But if it's just

34:27

morning, M0RNINI

34:30

know that we're all in for a special treat day. Chase

34:33

is always good morning.

34:35

How are you? Grace

34:37

and same thing, grace and text messages me a

34:40

million times a day. So that's

34:42

not something that was added for the

34:44

show, that is something that we have lived

34:46

with in our ever since we've been

34:48

married and started having children. So I hope

34:50

that answers your question.

34:52

Thank you so much, and have a great day. Next

34:54

caller, please.

34:55

Hi, John.

34:57

Hi, Julie.

34:58

My name is Christine, and

35:00

I am from Southern Illinois.

35:03

I just recently found

35:05

your podcast and your show

35:07

and started binge watching and

35:09

binge

35:09

listening. I absolutely love

35:12

you guys.

35:12

I'm just now on season four of of

35:15

Beth, and just started

35:17

watching growing up

35:18

correctly. I absolutely love

35:22

you guys. Thanks.

35:23

Hi, Christine from Illinois.

35:25

That makes me feel so good

35:27

that people are

35:30

still finding us that people are still discovering

35:32

the show, whether it's Chrisino's best

35:34

or growing up Chrisley or Chrisley Confashions

35:37

or Savannah's unfilled third or

35:39

Lindsay's coffee combos.

35:42

That makes me feel good because our show

35:44

has you know, we did ten

35:46

seasons, so we been on TV for a long

35:48

time. So I am glad that you

35:50

are catching up and that you're enjoying those

35:54

episodes

35:55

and that I hope you continue. Next

35:58

caller,

35:59

please. Hey, guys.

36:02

Excuse me.

36:03

My name's Crystal. And I'm from Kentucky.

36:06

I'm

36:06

proud to say

36:07

from the same city that

36:09

Crystal will confirm. Want

36:11

to sit with you.

36:12

But besides the point, I just

36:15

wanted you guys to know

36:17

that I don't know you know you. I just

36:19

know what we hear and what we see.

36:22

And I could not imagine

36:24

what you're going

36:26

through, but

36:27

My question is, if we're

36:29

the people and

36:32

we get some say in certain things

36:35

would it be possible for

36:37

us to sort of

36:39

petition to just

36:42

say, hey, this was Tech dollars

36:46

and we don't want this to go on

36:48

anymore. Can we drop the

36:50

case? I mean, is there anything that the

36:52

public can do to help

36:54

you and Julie during

36:58

this court proceedings. I don't

37:00

know anything about the law to be honest

37:02

with you. I just know when people are getting screwed and I feel like getting

37:04

screwed. I don't know the situation, to

37:06

be honest with you, didn't even follow

37:09

the court hearings. But

37:12

I've just listened to you guys now for

37:14

ever since you've had your podcast. And

37:18

I just I can feel my gut when someone's innocent. And I just would

37:20

love to be able to do something to help.

37:22

And I just think if we get

37:24

a bunch

37:26

of people who love you and just genuinely good people,

37:29

surely we could

37:31

do

37:31

something. I

37:34

don't

37:34

know. Anyway, I just wanna

37:35

let you guys know that I love you and praying for you guys every day

37:38

and god

37:40

bless.

37:44

thank you so much from Kentucky. And I say this all the

37:47

time, I love Kentucky. If

37:49

I could just talk Savannah into

37:51

moving to Kentucky, think

37:54

it's Savannah and the whole So put on the spot

37:57

right now too. But at

38:02

the end of the day, I

38:04

mean, hey, we love Chris Stapleton, super

38:07

super nice man. Love

38:10

him and love the fact that you went to high school with it. That just gives you super

38:13

credibility with me because I think that he is

38:15

literally one of the finest, greatest

38:18

additions to music in the world.

38:21

I also love Kentucky because

38:23

of George Clinton.

38:26

I didn't know that George Clooney was from Kentucky. I didn't

38:29

know that George Clooney worked in the

38:31

tobacco sales. I didn't know any of

38:33

that. And so that

38:36

just endeared me even more to Kentucky, but coming to

38:38

Kentucky and meeting the people

38:40

is what has endeared

38:43

me to Kentucky. Whether it be in a

38:45

restaurant at a gas station. You went to a little gas station. We stopped in

38:48

there, and she had a little bakery in

38:50

there, whatever. It

38:53

was in Simpsonville, Kentucky. NICE is people

38:55

in the world. I love Kentucky.

38:57

As far as what you can do

38:59

for us, you can pray. And

39:02

that's all that we could that's more than

39:04

we can ever expect from

39:06

anyone because prayer is the greatest gift that you

39:08

will ever give anyone. Not

39:10

something that is materialistic, but

39:12

prayer, fervent, prayer

39:14

for someone's good, for someone

39:16

healing to someone's well-being for, you know you know,

39:18

for the devil to be rebuked from

39:21

their lives. That is what you can do

39:23

for, you know, for us. The

39:26

legal system which we've never been a part of until now is

39:29

a very complex and

39:33

It's a it's a very complex system that we just

39:36

are still learning. And we don't

39:38

know, which is why we have all of these attorneys

39:40

that work for

39:42

us. And you just have to hope and pray to

39:44

guide that when one

39:46

division of the the judicial

39:50

system fails, that the next level, which is the appellate

39:52

court, sees the mistakes and

39:54

tries to correct those mistakes. That's what

39:56

that's the best that you can hope for.

39:59

And you have to put your faith in God and hope

40:01

that God is going to lift you up and

40:03

push you forward. And that's what we're doing right now,

40:06

Crystal. So all of those people

40:08

that you wanna get to do a petition.

40:10

I don't want that going to the judge. I

40:12

don't want to bombard the judge. I

40:14

know that she has

40:16

stated that She's been bombarded with emails and what have you on

40:18

our behalf. And I

40:20

don't wanna make that process on her

40:22

anymore difficult.

40:24

So what I would say is is if you wanna start a prayer chain, the

40:26

prayer chain is something that

40:28

we would gladly accept and

40:32

appreciate because we know that there's hundreds of other prayer chains that

40:34

are going on right now, and the Bible

40:36

says that we're two or more gathered,

40:38

so is he. So start

40:42

that prayer group crystal. Start the prayer

40:44

group and celebrate being able

40:46

to say that you are from Kentucky.

40:49

From Kentucky, a place that I

40:51

love dearly. God bless you, my friend.

40:53

Next caller, please.

40:56

Hi, Todd and Julie. This is Jenna from Fort Texas. I

40:58

know that your

40:59

voice mail is probably inundated with

41:02

calls right

41:04

now and

41:06

I just wanted to let you know that

41:08

I've

41:08

been a

41:09

religious fan for years. I

41:11

own

41:11

every

41:13

episode listen religiously every week to the

41:16

podcast. I

41:18

watch anything carefully I can

41:22

I watched Julie's cooking videos. My family loves

41:25

the French toast casserole

41:27

she makes. But with everything going

41:29

on, I just wanted to let

41:31

you know you still have

41:33

true fans out here that love you guys. We don't

41:35

believe the lies. We

41:37

don't believe

41:39

anything I'm a police dispatcher

41:42

and I work

41:42

in the justice

41:43

system and I know for my years

41:45

of doing this that

41:46

what was done to you is not

41:50

justice and that they were trying to make an example and

41:52

a name for themselves that it was not

41:54

by fault

41:56

of your own.

41:57

And I

42:00

Just want you to know that we're

42:01

here, we're praying for you, and we love

42:04

you.

42:05

Thank you, Jenna

42:08

from Texas. I

42:10

could hear in your voice the sincerity, and I just want

42:13

you to know that we appreciate it. Continue

42:15

with the prayers. We agree

42:18

with you

42:20

a percent. And the only thing

42:22

we can do is keep moving

42:24

forward, keep being positive, and

42:26

keep knowing that God is in control.

42:29

And that's where we're gonna stay. Howard

42:31

Bauchner: Jenna, thank you so much

42:34

for your sincere message,

42:36

and we're grateful for that. And again,

42:38

I just said, you know, to Crystal in Kentucky, how much

42:41

I love Kentucky. I've been

42:43

very vocal that Texas is

42:45

a place that I love

42:48

dearly. I love the people

42:50

there. We have a huge fan base

42:52

in Texas. And I have big,

42:55

big, Julian Savannah.

42:57

I said, okay. Well, you

42:59

know, let's look at Texas. You know, we can own a

43:01

lot of land there. The people are

43:03

very down to earth. Us says

43:05

they're very friendly. And I said we can

43:07

be right out in the middle of six hundred acres. No

43:10

one's gonna bother us. No one's gonna be

43:12

snapping pictures. And

43:14

they still will not leave Nashville. I

43:16

love Nashville. Don't get me wrong, but I

43:18

do want more wide open space.

43:20

And I think Kentucky offers me

43:23

that and so does

43:24

Texas. Used to,

43:26

you could get that here in Tennessee, but

43:28

now since Tennessee has become the fan

43:30

favorite of the rest of the country, that

43:32

is now becoming even more

43:35

lemon. When you start saying I wanna

43:37

have five hundred acres, you know, it's hard

43:39

to find that now. So thank you

43:41

so much. I

43:44

appreciate I appreciate you acknowledging that you worked in the

43:46

in the legal system and that it doesn't

43:48

the legal system doesn't always get

43:52

it right. And I

43:54

do believe though that God's going to reveal that,

43:56

and I have to keep my faith in that, and

43:58

my hope is in the lord, not in the

44:00

judicial system. So I thank you, Jenna, more

44:03

than you know. Let's do

44:05

the call from Donna

44:07

from Germany. Hey,

44:10

Todd and Julie. My name is Donna.

44:12

I live in Germany and I've

44:14

been listening to you guys for

44:16

years. I just wanna say, hang in there and don't

44:19

give up a good fight. I

44:21

know that I'm trying not to

44:23

leave it out

44:24

here. In

44:26

this country with people that talk like how to

44:28

cancel in the

44:29

top router and kind of tell me that I need

44:31

to learn their

44:34

language. That ain't gonna happen. But

44:36

anyway, it's just nice to

44:38

hear your podcast and

44:41

to watch your shows It's

44:43

harder for me out here in Germany than I still

44:45

try my best to keep up because I

44:48

feel like y'all were a part of

44:50

my

44:50

family. I am from Southwest of Virginia. So

44:52

I have a little

44:53

accent like

44:53

y'all do, and it just reminds me

44:56

of home

44:57

So I just wanted to say my prayers are with

44:59

you guys, and I enjoy

45:02

every moment of listening

45:04

to the

45:04

podcast. I look forward to every single

45:07

week.

45:07

And I hope

45:07

it never goes away,

45:10

but you just keep on fighting.

45:12

That's the thing as Southern Urals

45:14

have since we have that

45:15

good old fought

45:16

in us. So just don't give us that fight. You know who

45:19

you are and you know who you

45:21

are in God's eyes and

45:23

that's all that matters. Doesn't

45:25

matter what other people

45:26

say. So hang in there as much

45:29

as I am trying to hang in

45:31

here.

45:31

Alright, guys. You

45:34

take care. Bye bye. Hey,

45:36

Donna in Germany.

45:38

Well, actually, hey, Donna from Virginia.

45:41

You stay out of that red light district. You'll get in

45:44

trouble there. Donna,

45:46

thank you so much for your call.

45:48

We greatly appreciate it. And, you know,

45:51

we are southerners, and I mean, and asoutherners tend to

45:53

stick together. And for that, I'm grateful. But, you

45:55

know, I believe that the world

45:57

is I'm I'm in

45:59

It's a melting pot. And I know that

46:02

there's good people in Germany and I'm going to

46:04

pray that God places you in that

46:06

right circle. And

46:08

just tell them like I do. You know, when peep when I when I travel

46:10

or go somewhere and I don't Nick is

46:12

a a fine example of that. Because

46:15

when we were in Paris, we'll be there for, what, two

46:17

weeks. Mhmm. And I

46:20

hated Paris.

46:23

Julie loved it Savannah, Chase, Grayson. I kept

46:26

playing the hotel. We went down for lunch every

46:28

day. We got dressed. We went

46:30

to all the little stuff there in

46:32

the hotel. But it

46:34

rained. It was cold. I didn't

46:36

think people were friendly.

46:38

And so and I didn't under I mean, I don't

46:40

speak their language. Hell, Don, I struggle

46:42

with English. So for me

46:44

to learn French was even worse. And Nick said,

46:46

but you have to understand

46:50

that people in another country view it as

46:52

rude that you don't try to

46:54

learn to speak to their language

46:56

in their

46:58

country. And I said, well, then I need you to learn to speak southern.

47:02

So Nick did not learn to speak southern. He

47:04

still speaks French, and I think

47:06

he talked that is behind our back

47:08

when he starts talking like that. But I'm

47:10

on record it so to translate when he says

47:12

something bad about Judy because I know it would be

47:14

amazing. But Donna, I thank

47:16

you and we said nothing love, light, and

47:18

blessings to you in Germany and hurry up

47:20

and come home.

48:22

Hey, Todd. Hey, Julie.

48:24

It's Angie from Alabama.

48:26

I'll just call in say

48:30

that I'm so sorry about

48:32

the verdict and the present

48:34

time that they have given

48:35

y'all. I feel like it's completely

48:37

unjust like it's completely in there. I

48:40

have played for y'all

48:42

lately ever

48:43

since all of this

48:46

startup and was really

48:48

hoping for things to be different than

48:50

what they're turning out to

48:52

be. With that being said, we know that

48:54

God has a plan and a purpose

48:56

for everything that's under heaven. And we know that God

48:58

has a plan and a purpose for this now

49:00

or such as God is this.

49:04

And I know that this test will become

49:06

a test of

49:07

action. I just

49:09

want to don 218 that

49:11

there's so many viewers and so

49:13

many listeners that have prayed for

49:15

y'all

49:15

daily, and I know that there has to be

49:18

some plan in this. There has to

49:19

be something lighter that's

49:22

going to come up there. So

49:24

that being scientists know that everyone's

49:26

continuing to fight for you,

49:29

and believe call us in

49:31

prayer. And that whatever happens, whatever

49:33

goes down, that you have so

49:35

many supporters that's gonna support

49:37

you through this. And just know that God is on your side,

49:39

and we love you guys. You all have a

49:42

great day.

49:44

Bye bye. Hi,

49:45

Angie from Alabama. Thank you so

49:48

much, and thank you for your

49:50

support. Thank you for your

49:52

prayers. We do

49:54

believe that this test will become a

49:56

testimony. We do believe that there

49:58

is purpose in this

50:00

pain. And

50:02

we do not believe that

50:04

this is the end of the road for

50:05

us, that we are just

50:08

beginning to scratch the surface of

50:10

God's will for

50:12

our lives.

50:12

So we thank you we thank

50:15

every person

50:18

who listens to

50:20

the show to who listens

50:22

to our podcast.

50:24

We just thank you for that, and thank you for your

50:26

prayers. Angie, thank you so much.

50:29

You know, listen. I think that it's

50:31

I think that was very good when you're

50:33

singing, there's power in the pain. And

50:35

there's also promise in

50:37

the pain. And you know, it

50:39

goes back to to prosper us, not to harm

50:42

us. And I know for

50:44

a fact that

50:47

this is not the end for us. I know that beyond

50:49

any doubt in my mind.

50:54

I am very I

50:56

am very solid in my faith.

50:58

I know where I stand. And I

51:00

know that the God that I serve

51:02

has not forsaken me. That he is working and

51:04

never ceases to work. And I know

51:06

that the devil will never outwork him. So

51:09

I want you to know that we love

51:11

each and every person that calls

51:13

in each and every person that considers

51:16

themselves a fan. We kind of

51:18

consider everyone as part of our

51:20

family. So So for

51:22

that, Angie, I thank you very much and I

51:24

pray that God blesses you and your family

51:26

always. So on that note folks,

51:28

we're out of time. So I want

51:30

to say, God bless you

51:32

all. We are grateful for the

51:34

blessings for which we have been given.

51:36

We are grateful for the opportunities

51:38

that God has bestowed upon us and

51:40

those that he is going to bestow upon

51:42

us in the future. We

51:44

thank you for tuning in to

51:46

Cristina's best to growing up crisply, to confessions,
