Chris Jeffs „Cylob“ Meisterkurs
Der gebürtige Engländer Chris Jeffs lebt seit einiger Zeit in Berlin. Ursprünglich Posaunist, ist er mittlerweile zu einem Geheimtipp im Bereich von Electronic Music und Live Performance unter dem Künstlernamen Cylob geworden. Um seine Klangästhetik unabhängiger und unverwechselbarer gestalten zu können, begann er selbst zu programmieren und dies so erfolgreich, dass von ihm entwickelte Software z.B. für Granular-Synthese und Visualisierung/Animation beim internationalen LOMUS-Wettbewerb den ersten Preis gewann. In seinen jüngsten Werken beschäftigte er sich unter anderem mit der Programmierung von 'Musikalischen Systemen' für interaktive Installationen und Performances.Der Meisterkurs fand im Wintersemester 2011/12 am IMWI im ComputerStudio statt.Join Podchaser to...
