Host Jeremy C. Park talks with Ann Jarvis, USO Executive Director of USO Fort Campbell / Nashville, who highlights the mission and efforts of the nonprofit organization focused on strengthening the well-being of the people serving in America's military and their families.

During the interview, Ann shares some of the history for the organization, which was started in 1941, and talks about their efforts around the world. Today's USO continuously adapts to the needs of our men and women in uniform and their families, so they can focus on their very important mission. The organization operates USO centers at or near military installations across the United States and throughout the world, including in combat zones and airport centers that offer around-the-clock hospitality for traveling service members and their families.

Ann discusses how the USO is a congressionally chartered, private organization that is not part of the federal government, and how the USO relies on the generosity of individuals, organizations and corporations to support its activities, and is powered by a family of volunteers to accomplish their mission. She talks about some of their different programs, their impact, how she got involved, and how the community can support their efforts.
