1:26

is where I answer each and

1:28

every one of your questions that

1:30

came in via challengemaniacs.com. This

1:33

is a special Season 40 edition

1:35

of Challenge Accepted where all the questions involve

1:37

what was just announced this week. The Challenge

1:40

Season 40, The Battle of the

1:42

Eros, which will premiere on MTV

1:44

on Wednesday, August 14th. Rightfully

1:46

so. We are all very excited. So I'm excited

1:49

to start breaking down some of your questions. This

1:52

podcast is brought to you by

1:54

Challenge Mania's Buffalo Bash, Sunday, September

1:56

22nd. We just announced this is

1:58

going to be a Season 40 edition. that means all the

2:00

cast members we have so far, any cast

2:02

members we add, they're

2:05

going to be participants on season 40. That way

2:07

we could talk about that with you guys in

2:09

the house. I believe it'll be

2:11

week four or five of season 40 at that time. I

2:14

can't promise everybody's still on at that point. Obviously, they'll

2:17

be eliminating people every week, but

2:19

everyone who will be in the house at Buffalo

2:21

Bash will have appeared on season 40

2:23

in some capacity. We've got Rachel Robinson. We've got

2:26

Mark Long. We've

2:28

got Aviv Melmed who's back for us this week. We've got Mark Long

2:30

back for I believe the first time in 18 years since

2:32

coming in on fresh meat and winning the damn thing.

2:34

Tickets are already available at Challenge Mania. Die Live, but

2:36

do not wait. Get them today

2:39

and join us at Vice Whiskey Wine

2:41

and Dine in Buffalo, New York, Sunday,

2:43

September 22nd. We will have

2:45

football on the TVs for you guys to

2:47

enjoy, but don't worry, Buffalo, the Bills do

2:50

not play until the following night, Monday Night

2:52

Football against my Jags, Duval, and

2:54

you know we'll be delegating with Game Day Hospitality

2:56

for that. On Sunday, come

2:58

and talk Challenge with us. Get all your stuff

3:00

signed. Get all your selfies. It's going to be

3:02

a great time. And we've got

3:05

amazing shows lined up. We have a bit

3:07

of time off for the next few weeks,

3:09

but beginning on July the

3:11

27th, it's Road Rules Only, and

3:13

that's at celebrations, and that is

3:16

an Imperial PA, AKA Pittsburgh PA.

3:18

We just announced another Road Ruler,

3:20

Katie Cooley, who as you know

3:23

is on this awesome cast of

3:26

the Challenge season 40. She

3:28

is joining a Road Rules stacked lineup

3:31

of Dorell, Derek, Mark, Susie, and Kiefla.

3:33

So throw Katie in there as well.

3:35

Tickets available at ChallengeMania.Live. The following week,

3:37

Cleveland SummerSlam weekend. You've got Nerese. You've

3:39

got Aracio. Speaking of season 40, they're

3:41

both on here too. We've got Dorell.

3:44

We've got Mark Long. We've got Derek

3:46

Kaczynski, and we've got a man who

3:48

might not be on season 40, but

3:50

he was a Challenge Mainstay for several

3:52

years. We're excited to have Mr. Isaac

3:54

the Wolf, AKA Isaac Stout, on board

3:57

for that show as well. I believe

3:59

BIP is... sold out sadly but GA

4:01

available. Same goes for Portland on August

4:03

17th. Got a lot of Season 40

4:05

cast members on this one too. Anissa,

4:07

Kylan, who else from Season 40?

4:10

We've got Mark Long of course as well. The co-host

4:12

chair we've got Nerese. So Nerese,

4:15

Anissa, Kylan and Mark represent Season 40

4:17

and we've also got our man Corey

4:19

Lay. We've also got the wonderful and

4:21

lovely Traders Champion Trichelle Canatella in the

4:23

house. That's at Helium in Portland on

4:25

August 17th. Again I believe VIP is

4:28

sold out. We've got Chicago on August

4:30

31st. Going to have some representatives from Season 40

4:32

on that show but that is sold out sadly.

4:34

Waitlist is a mile long. I won't bore you

4:36

with that. Then as I

4:38

said September 22nd we are coming to

4:41

Whiskey, Wine and Dine, Vice, Whiskey, Wine

4:43

and Dine and that is in Buffalo.

4:45

You can get tickets to Challenge Maniac.Live,

4:47

Rachel, Aviv, Mark and more. Alright guys

4:50

you guys sent in some great questions

4:52

over at challengemaniacs.com. If you haven't

4:55

heard Derek and I break down

4:57

the cast and the announcement of course Derek going to be

5:00

on the show. He sheds

5:03

some light on everything. It's a great podcast.

5:05

It's already up in the main feed in

5:07

about 50% form and in the other

5:09

50% you've got to go to challengemaniacs.com if

5:11

you want to hear that. We've also got

5:13

an Ace interview that's already up at challengemaniacs.com.

5:15

You can watch that. You can watch all

5:17

of our interviews, all of our breakdowns at

5:19

challengemaniacs.com. That will be hitting the feed next

5:22

week. So even though All Stars 4 is

5:24

behind us we're still continuing to unpack that

5:26

season. So why don't we

5:28

get right to it guys. Starting with

5:30

Mr. Bad Bobby. He says Scott, which and

5:32

by the way the reason I'm doing this

5:34

and I like doing these Challenge Accepted Q&A

5:36

podcasts anyway but the reason I'm doing this

5:38

specifically for Season 40 is a lot of

5:41

this stuff is a little bit awkward to

5:43

be asking Derek who went and did this

5:45

thing. You know I didn't go and play

5:47

on the show. So I'm

5:49

answering these questions honestly. I'm speculating

5:52

honestly and I'm giving you my

5:54

100% authentic reaction

5:56

and thoughts based on the cast that has

5:59

just been dropped. on us. Right. And

6:01

that doesn't mean Derek can't also give you his

6:03

two cents of why you know that podcast we

6:05

did earlier this week is great. But you know

6:07

it is a little different when he's on the

6:09

line and everything like that. So this is a different

6:11

speed me just getting through

6:13

some of your questions here. Bad Bobby

6:15

says which era do you think has

6:18

the strongest male lineup? Which era do

6:20

you think has the strongest female lineup?

6:22

I'd say era one males era two

6:25

females. Alright well okay.

6:28

I agree with that sentiment. I think those are

6:30

pretty good choices. I do think era

6:32

two has the strongest females. I

6:35

think when you throw in there who we

6:37

just saw numbers one and two finishers on All

6:39

Stars 4 Laurel and Cara then

6:41

you got Emily who's in there. She's one

6:43

of the strongest women of all time. And

6:46

then don't sleep on Aviv. You

6:48

know Aviv is also in there. Era

6:50

two. So I mean

6:52

I think they've got a really

6:54

strong female lineup. The fifth female

6:56

there is escaping me. Let me pull up the photo

6:58

so I don't leave out the fifth female. But

7:01

I think they are definitely the

7:03

strongest female lineup here. I'm pulling it up on my

7:05

phone so I don't sound like a jerk. Yeah

7:09

so Kellyanne. So yeah Kellyanne if

7:11

she and I don't even know if

7:13

she is the five slot but if

7:15

she is hell of a strong fifth

7:17

slot for Miss Kellyanne Judd. So by

7:19

far I think the females in

7:21

era two. Look era one's

7:23

males I mean Mark, Brad,

7:25

Derek, Dorell, C.T. You

7:28

can't knock the amount of championships. You can't

7:31

knock the history. The question is are these

7:33

guys still in their prime and can they

7:35

rock with the Rocio's of the world, the

7:37

Theo's of the world, the Jordan's of the

7:40

world, the Devon's of the world even. So

7:43

I do think era one is in contention

7:45

for having some of the strongest guys but

7:48

I do think you kind of have to

7:50

also look at era three there. So

7:53

you got Leroy, you got Jordan,

7:57

you've got Devon. Era four No

8:00

slouches as well, but obviously, you know, no championships

8:02

on the male end there. So I think, you

8:04

know, as much as competitively, athletically, Aracio, Kylen, these

8:06

are tough guys still got to give the edge

8:09

to era one. So I'm going to go with

8:11

I'm going to go with your answers. And I

8:13

am going to say era one for

8:16

them, for the males and era two for

8:18

the females. Nicole

8:20

says, who are the alternates now? Look,

8:24

I think there's a couple of ways to look

8:26

at alternates. I do believe that I don't think

8:28

any alternates were flown out for this. However,

8:32

I do know that they did have a lot

8:34

of people get physicals done and be ready to

8:36

rock if need be. And they left him at

8:38

home. Because look, when you have a

8:40

format like this, you have, again, five males,

8:42

five females, and they specifically have to be from a

8:44

certain era. You don't want to have to throw a

8:47

monkey wrench in there and just, you know, get the

8:49

next best person you can get. Pop them on any

8:51

era. I mean, for something that they clearly put a

8:53

lot of time and thought into this cast and making

8:55

sure people fit in the right eras, you

8:58

got to have a lot of people on standby. I do

9:00

think because they had so many people, though, on standby,

9:02

they probably made the decision not to fly any of

9:04

them out because it's either fly all of them or

9:06

none of them. John

9:08

Heddles comments, and this is his information

9:11

not necessarily mine, although I can corroborate

9:13

this in some regard. John says he

9:15

believes that these were some of the

9:17

at-home alternates, that era one had Adam

9:19

Larson, Ruthie, and Cyrus. Era two had

9:22

Big Eazy and Carly. Era

9:24

three had Derek Henry, JG, and

9:26

Jasmine. And era four had Big

9:29

T and Fessy. So a

9:31

lot of people kind of, you know, wanting

9:34

to have them on standby if need be, if they

9:36

need to come in off the bench. And again, when

9:38

you have so much of play with the specifics of

9:40

the eras, obviously they have a diversity

9:42

initiative they try to want to stick to, you

9:44

know, depending at least when a fill-in comes in.

9:47

I know obviously there's no, there's nothing they can

9:49

do, you know, far along into the game. They

9:51

kind of have to just take who they can

9:53

get in a lot of ways, depending on who

9:55

leaves the game or comes into the game and

9:57

whatnot. But depending on when, say, somebody pulls in,

10:01

I do think they would try to keep

10:03

the diversity level,

10:05

if you will, at a level that they

10:07

are comfortable with or proud of. And I

10:09

think that that is why also, depending on

10:11

when it happened during the process, they might

10:13

call on a different person here or there.

10:17

But here's what I'll say. We

10:19

don't know if any alternates go into

10:21

the game. We're not

10:23

going to speculate whether they

10:25

do or don't. That's obviously, in my

10:28

opinion, a spoiler. So you hear some

10:30

of these names, or some

10:32

of these names that would go into the game if somebody got

10:34

injured or had to cancel or whatnot. It's

10:37

possible. But that being said, none of these names are

10:39

listed in the press release. And this

10:41

is the kind of shit, again, Derek went on the show.

10:43

He knows whether these people go into the game or not.

10:46

I can still kind of speculate and say we don't know.

10:49

And that's why I'm kind of more willing to talk about the alternates than

10:51

he probably is. That being said, none of

10:53

these people have actively posted that they weren't alternate. It's

10:56

a lot different when you stay at home. We talked

10:58

about Ryan Kehoe on All Stars One, where he was

11:00

an alternate, but he was physically on site. He

11:02

was able to form a relationship with Ace, even

11:04

in the hotel before, that ends up impacting him

11:06

on All Stars Four. So that's a lot different

11:08

than just, hey, keep your phone on.

11:11

And look, this is season 40. You want to have a

11:13

fun cast. You want to have a great

11:15

cast. I think they put together a

11:17

really great cast. I think some of these names would

11:19

be interesting ads. However,

11:21

it's interesting to see because then you wonder, are these kind

11:23

of the last few out, you know, as the

11:25

NCAA tournament? Are these the ones who were on

11:27

the bubble, if you will? So I'll trust John

11:29

and his intel that some of this is correct.

11:32

Although, like I said, it's not nothing's confirmed. And

11:34

it's hard to confirm when, again, they're not physically

11:36

there. You know, to me, that's an alternate when

11:38

you're physically there. They flew you

11:41

out. That means you are an alternate when they're leaving

11:43

you at home. Who knows if you

11:45

were the next guy up, the next gallop, whatever,

11:47

you know, Zach

11:49

says, Cory has done everything on the

11:52

challenge except win. Does being

11:54

on a team with Jordan set him

11:56

up for his first win? I mean,

11:58

look, the guys made finals as recently

12:00

as last year. year on USA2. He's

12:02

been on championships doorstep for years and

12:04

years. Look, yeah, he's

12:06

got Jordan on his team. He's got Devin, a

12:08

recent champion on his team. You

12:11

know, they've got a, I think

12:13

a hell of a roster on,

12:15

on era three. So I

12:17

will say that it's one of those things where

12:20

does this give him a good

12:23

chance to win? It depends on what the

12:25

format remains throughout. All right. Tony reigns is

12:27

another guy. Leroy is another guy. I mean,

12:30

the guy's really strong on

12:32

era three, as are some of the females.

12:34

You've got Tori, you've got John A, you've

12:36

got Nia. So I think they've got a

12:38

really strong squad with era three. And

12:40

then, you know, what's interesting is someone

12:42

brought this up to me that, that, that Tori actually,

12:46

you know, made her debut on

12:48

season 30, the last possible season

12:51

to be a part of era three. So she gets to

12:53

be on era three, but she obviously has close relationships with a

12:55

lot of the people on era four, which I think is interesting

12:57

and obviously poses as a potential

13:00

advantage based on what the format is, you

13:02

know? And so what I'll say

13:04

is you might be completely right

13:06

that him being on a team with Jordan

13:08

and, and again, these other guys are no

13:11

slouches that gives him a good

13:13

chance for a portion of the game where maybe they're in

13:15

a team form, but who knows if they

13:17

break down and go individual, you don't want

13:19

to look to your left and see Jordan

13:21

in a final. So again, it depends how

13:23

the thing shakes out. They have not told

13:25

us whether these four eras are going to

13:27

be competing essentially with these errors for the

13:29

entirety of the game. And at the end,

13:31

we're going to say crown, you know, the

13:33

last four people remaining on era three as

13:35

the champs and then, you know, Jordan and

13:37

Corey and, you know, likening, larkening back to,

13:40

you know, some of the early seasons of the, of the challenge,

13:42

the real world road rules challenge where at the end of this,

13:44

we'll say our champions are era three and it's

13:46

Amanda Tori, Jordan and Corey, you know, if that's

13:48

the case, if that is the format throughout, then

13:50

hell yeah, I think they have a great chance.

13:52

I think, I think season or era three, I

13:54

should say is one of the strongest crops

13:57

that we have out there. and

14:00

maybe even the most well-rounded all-around now that

14:02

I'm looking at it. You know, I think

14:05

just going down here, I have it in

14:07

front of me. Tori, Amanda, Leroy, John A,

14:09

Nia, Tony, Avery, Devin, Corey,

14:11

and Jordan. I mean, yeah, so again,

14:14

depends how long the format stays in the

14:16

eras mode. But if it does

14:18

throughout, yes, I'm with you. Gives him a great chance

14:20

to win. If not, if it breaks down, these

14:23

aren't necessarily the guys I want left in the

14:25

game towards the end of it. And that includes,

14:27

you know, not even just Jordan, but that includes

14:30

your Tonys and your Leroys and your Devons.

14:32

So, all right, let's take a break here

14:34

from some of our sponsors. Come back and

14:36

answer more questions. Oh,

14:42

hey, we're invited to the Johnson Summer

14:44

Pool party this Saturday. I said we'd

14:46

bring our famous potato salad. Oh, Saturday?

14:48

But that's when the blinds guys come

14:51

in to give us a quote. Those

14:53

appointments take forever. Oh, yeah, I meant

14:55

to tell you. I already found everything we need

14:57

at blinds.com. They're totally online, so

14:59

we don't have to wait around all day

15:01

just to get a quote. I talked to

15:03

a blinds.com designer, and they're sending us free

15:05

samples. Oh, blinds.com? I've

15:08

heard of them. Yeah, they've been around for

15:10

over 25 years, but not everyone knows

15:12

they can also handle the measuring and

15:14

installation for a fraction of what the

15:16

other guys charge. Plus, they have a

15:18

100% satisfaction guarantee. Well,

15:22

blinds.com sounds like a no-brainer. Guess

15:24

I'll cancel. Already done. That gives you

15:26

time to make the potato salad. Yes,

17:04

right, back with more questions about

17:06

season 40. Mr.

17:10

Blue says, who are your biggest

17:12

casting snubs? All right,

17:14

so I'm gonna break that off there. His second

17:16

part of his question, if a man well had

17:18

a guaranteed spot, this is something I said on

17:20

our last podcast, who would you have removed for

17:23

him? Also, do you think Turbo

17:25

should have been on? What about Alton and Susie?

17:28

All right, so we'll break this into different questions here, Mr. Blue.

17:31

I'm gonna start with the Emmanuel thing. So I said this on the

17:33

other podcast, I've said this on social media, I think people are getting

17:35

confused. Look, Emmanuel, great when

17:37

he comes on the podcast, I will say I don't

17:40

think he brought that much to season 39. I

17:43

do think if you were ranking the champions of

17:45

the potential outcome and how much life it could

17:47

breathe into the future of the challenge, he's probably

17:49

low on the list. You know, you compare him

17:51

to some of the people they chose over him

17:53

here, Aracio and Kylan and it's clear like, you know,

17:56

they would rather have them on future seasons. I

17:59

don't know if there's any. sort of additional component or any

18:01

hurdles that prevent it from being on the

18:03

show. What bothered me about the champion of

18:05

battle for a new champion, not getting an

18:07

automatic slot on what is essentially now the

18:09

tournament of champions, if you will, of the

18:12

challenge. It's the best of the best. They're

18:14

bragging about all these winners here. His

18:17

era, era four, does not have a male winner

18:19

on it. They have the one

18:21

female winner with Casey. But other than that, they

18:24

don't have any male winners. They

18:26

elect to use Josh and

18:28

Theo and Paulie, who I would say

18:30

are more from the first half of

18:32

the era timeline. We're talking about era

18:34

four here. We're talking about seasons

18:37

31 to 39. You

18:40

have your Paulie and your Theo

18:42

and your Josh, who premiered in

18:44

those first three seasons there in

18:46

the window. Then you've got your

18:49

Kylins and your Horacios, who

18:51

are representing, obviously, this last

18:53

season here, Aracio, premiered on

18:55

Ride or Dies, Kylan, the

18:57

stint on USA Season 1, and then makes

18:59

his MTV debut on Season 39. To

19:03

answer your question, whose spot would

19:05

you have removed for him? It

19:08

comes down to Aracio and it comes down

19:10

to Kylan. I would, by

19:12

a hair, probably say give him Kylan's spot.

19:14

I want to flat out say this. A

19:17

hundred times out of a hundred would choose Kylan. I

19:20

guess you've got to say 99 out of a

19:22

hundred times. In a vacuum, I would choose Kylan.

19:24

I am certain that Kylan will be better for

19:26

this season and this show than Emmanuel. That's

19:28

not my point. My point is removing who

19:31

won Season 39, and like I said, it

19:33

was probably worst case scenario. It

19:35

doesn't matter to me who wins. Before the

19:37

winner was even crowned. To me, if you're going to

19:40

do battle for a new champion, and then after that,

19:42

only going to have it

19:44

be one champion. You're not even going to crown

19:46

a female champion or it could have been a

19:48

male champion, but you're only crowning one champion. To

19:50

me, that has to come with an automatic ticket

19:52

for Season 40 regardless of how beloved you are

19:54

or entertaining you are. Because otherwise, what was the

19:56

point of us watching that God forsaken season for

19:58

24 episodes or whatever? So to

20:00

me it's just insulting to us as viewers.

20:02

Now that being said, I know a lot of

20:04

us who didn't love that season or kind

20:06

of, you know, be labored covering it or whatever,

20:09

you know, I know a lot of us,

20:11

myself included, are not necessarily, you know, clamoring

20:13

for a man well to be on every season from here

20:15

on out. So I get the reluctance to put him in

20:18

here. I get that the...and I

20:21

get better than anybody how few and far between

20:23

these spots are. You not only are

20:25

breaking it down by era and breaking it down by clumps of 9

20:27

to 10 seasons, but then from there

20:29

it's 5 male and 5 female. So

20:32

there's really only 5 spots to

20:34

give covering a 10 season span. I get

20:36

why they left him off. The

20:38

reason though I'm just saying that it goes back

20:40

to what we said when Jenny West won Total

20:43

Madness and this is the first time we're seeing

20:45

Jenny West since then. If winning the challenge doesn't

20:47

at least kind of punch your ticket for

20:49

a season like Global Championship or this, I

20:51

mean, I just think it's taking away the validity of the win.

20:55

Why do we care about the win? Is it just the

20:57

money? Because I mean, in a way

20:59

I think it should force casting hands a little bit.

21:03

I think there should be a little bit of choosing

21:05

your own destiny and winning your own future with a

21:07

win. And this is someone who, again, I don't want

21:09

boring people on the show. I want the most entertaining

21:11

people on the show. Certainly season 40. I want to

21:13

not just be the best of the best, but the

21:15

most entertaining as well. And

21:18

so I'm well aware that he would be low

21:20

on the list of potential candidates with

21:22

all that included. But I do think

21:25

he should have had a spot. Now Turbo as well, he kind

21:27

of goes into the same category. And

21:30

it's very similar, I think. I think he's slightly

21:32

maybe more entertaining than a man well. So

21:35

do I think he should have been on? No, I

21:37

don't need it necessarily. I think sure, you know, could

21:39

have been interesting. Yes. And I think it probably yes

21:41

takes one of those. Now Turbo is interesting

21:43

because he premiered a little earlier. You could maybe give

21:45

him the Josh spot or give him the Theo spot

21:48

even as well. What

21:50

about Alton and Susie, Mr. Blue says? Would have loved

21:52

to have seen Alton. Who's spotty giving him? Are you

21:54

giving him Brad's spot? Are you giving him Derek's spot?

21:56

Are you giving him Durell's spot? CT

21:59

spot? But what I'll say

22:01

is, Arrow 1 is as close to perfect as

22:03

possible. So if you're slotting Susie in for Katie,

22:05

or Susie in for Anisa, or slotting Alton

22:08

in for one of those fellas, sure. But

22:10

I'm so content with Season with Arrow 1

22:12

that it's kind of hard for me to

22:14

fantasy book other people in and out

22:16

of that one. I will say, I think that one's just kind

22:18

of knocked it out of the park. As

22:21

far as biggest casting snubs, I

22:24

want to say this. There's two ways to

22:26

look at a snub. To me, a snub is they

22:28

decided not to put this person on. I

22:31

know just from having spoken to people along

22:33

the way, some of the people missing from

22:35

this, it is not because they were snubbed.

22:37

I know Nani was definitely asked. I'm pretty

22:40

sure that Avery, for instance, got that Nani

22:42

spot in Arrow 3. They

22:44

wanted Nani. Nani could have said

22:46

yes. She reluctantly didn't say

22:48

yes. I wonder if now she looks back and kind

22:50

of wishes she had said yes. Either way, if

22:53

you're missing Nani like I am, you can't be mad

22:55

at the challenge gods. You shouldn't be

22:57

mad at Nani anyway, but Nani is kind of to

23:00

blame there. A

23:02

lot of people wonder about the Evelines and

23:04

the Corals and the Landons. And ultimately, look,

23:06

I'm sure that if these people were available

23:09

and willing to play ball with the parameters,

23:11

that the challenge gods are not necessarily going

23:13

to move too drastically for

23:15

someone like them. I'm

23:17

sure that maybe they'd be considered. But

23:20

look, when it comes to the Corals and

23:22

the Landons, when you look at that Arrow

23:24

1, here's what I'm saying. Look at the

23:26

risk versus reward here. Would Landon be great?

23:28

Sure. But is Landon that

23:30

much of an improvement over those amazing

23:33

OG fellas we have in Arrow 1,

23:35

where you're going to need to bend over backwards and give him

23:37

whatever he wants and this and that? And

23:40

is that the precedent to set for a season where

23:42

you have 40 people to cast and everyone should be

23:44

paid fairly and based on how many seasons they've done

23:46

and stuff like that? And Landon has not done a

23:48

lot of seasons. So as much as a

23:51

big name he is in challenge lore, he's done fewer

23:53

seasons than Josh. So you have to think of it

23:55

that way. So

23:57

biggest snubs. Again,

24:00

I look at the Emmanuel thing as

24:02

literally a snub, them going, you just won a solo

24:04

season where it was battle for a new champion, and

24:06

we are choosing not to put you on. That to

24:08

me is a snub, whether you agree with it or

24:10

not. You know, a lot

24:12

of people have mentioned Fessy. I do think Fessy would

24:14

have been an interesting candidate for one of those spots.

24:16

You see that he was, I think, an alternate, so

24:19

he was clearly on their radar. There's not that many

24:21

spots to go around. And I think,

24:23

look, who do you give him, Josh's spot? Maybe, you

24:25

know, is Fessy essentially maybe a

24:27

more competitive version than Josh

24:29

or of Josh, it's possible. So

24:32

if that's how you feel, I

24:34

could say that Melinda, and I asked her

24:36

permission, she said, go ahead, is

24:39

that Melinda was slotted for one

24:41

of those era

24:43

two spots. She

24:45

was gonna be on this show, and she

24:47

had to bow out for personal reasons, and

24:49

I won't get into those, obviously, but so

24:52

Melinda is someone who you might be looking at this

24:54

and consider her a snub. Maybe you don't consider her

24:56

a snub. She hasn't had the most illustrious challenge career

24:58

success-wise. She did make the final on All

25:01

Stars Two, but to me, she's a favorite. She's a

25:03

favorite of ours. She's a favorite of Challenge Mania's. You've

25:05

heard her on the podcast many times. You've heard

25:07

her on her podcast, Blonde Moments. We just got

25:09

to see her in Detroit. And

25:11

so I would have loved to have

25:13

seen Melinda, but again, just to give you a little bit

25:15

of insight, was not a snub. And,

25:18

you know, a silver lining there when

25:20

Melinda was unable to do it, I know

25:23

that Aviv got her spot. So you've

25:26

heard me and you've seen my posting of this and that.

25:28

I'm so happy to be seeing Aviv back. And

25:30

she's someone who I do think when they were crunching

25:32

the numbers and seeing who to slot in, they probably

25:35

thought a Melinda made a little bit more sense having

25:37

done a couple of All Stars season

25:39

along the way. Is this the time to really bring

25:41

Aviv back into the fold for the first time after

25:43

18 seasons? She only did one. Will

25:45

people remember her? And, you

25:47

know, they probably thought Melinda made a little bit more

25:49

sense. And I think Aviv was an alternate. So that

25:52

list of alternates we talked about earlier, it is possible

25:54

to get in off the bench. Put me in, coach.

25:56

It is possible. Things happen. People do have to bow

25:58

out. And so. As much

26:00

as it sucks to not see Melinda, I think

26:02

Melinda would agree, it is absolutely awesome to see

26:04

Aviv. And it's interesting that they're

26:06

sort of most interesting, if you want to say,

26:09

or most ambitious casting choice with Aviv, being that

26:11

she has not done any spin-offs or anything in

26:13

so long. I mean, like Rachel hasn't done the

26:15

flagship in a long time, but she was just

26:17

on All-Stars 4. And, you know, same goes for

26:19

a Brandon, and a Keo, and a Chavez, et

26:22

cetera. Aviv, their most

26:24

sort of ambitious and courageous casting choice here,

26:27

she was at first an alternate, you know? So, you

26:29

know, you wonder like a Carly, if a Carly

26:31

was truly an alternate, which it looks like she

26:33

was, and she, you know, mirrors Aviv, you know,

26:35

almost identically in that she did one season, she

26:37

did Fresh Meat 2, she won with Landon, the

26:40

way that Aviv won with Dorell. And

26:43

Carly would have been a great casting choice too.

26:45

And it's interesting, it's just like, I do think

26:47

when it's all said and done, they go, who

26:49

do we put here? Emily Schramm or Carly? And I

26:52

do think just, you know, sort of recency bias, and

26:54

the more that people have done, what have you done

26:56

for me lately? How many seasons have you done? How

26:58

much of the fan base will immediately recognize

27:00

you? And as much as

27:03

I love Aviv, when I've been posting about her, a lot of people

27:05

are saying, who's that, who's that, who's that? So do

27:07

I sympathize with those people? No, I think, you

27:09

know, do your research. But I do get why

27:11

season 40, there are so few spots, you want

27:14

to have them be people who you know, people

27:16

remember, and who have done some of the spin-offs,

27:18

and things like that. But,

27:21

so perfect example, Aviv, who we got,

27:23

we got by way of Melinda not being able

27:25

to do it. So Melinda, again, not a snub,

27:27

but obviously somebody we're missing here. And

27:31

I'm trying to think who else, I mean, I

27:33

think, again, I think they did such a good

27:35

job with this cast, it's hard to call anyone

27:37

a snub, when again, it's only five males and

27:39

five females per era. I mean, there are easily

27:42

10 to 15 people on

27:44

each side of the gender coin, every

27:46

era, that would be great choices here.

27:48

And again, some more ambitious, it keeps

27:50

using that word than others, some

27:53

that sort of really dusting them off after a

27:55

long layoff, they haven't done much, some who have

27:57

just done all stars, some who still continue to

27:59

do it. to play on the flagship. So it's hard.

28:02

What do you do? And I do think they got a good mix. Alexis

28:05

says, not a question, but I hope they don't

28:07

do the format like invasions, where the champs took

28:09

out fellow champs. Yeah, I do think that was

28:11

a terrible way to have done invasions, by the

28:13

way. I do catch that season

28:15

quite often on one on one on the elliptical,

28:18

going full throttle, and they

28:20

have it on Pluto TV. It boggles

28:22

my mind that that's how they did that season. I really

28:24

can't stand it. Alexis

28:26

says, I hope era one doesn't have to go

28:28

against era one in eliminations. I

28:31

hope it's era versus era. Again, this is speculation.

28:34

I believe there will be parts of the season

28:36

in which people are

28:39

competing within their own era, which will be bittersweet

28:41

to see people have to take out their

28:43

own. And whether it's

28:46

directly in eliminations or whether there's the purge that they've sort

28:48

of alluded to at the beginning of the season, I

28:50

do believe there will be times where that is the case.

28:52

And I do believe there are times where errors will be

28:55

competing against different errors, whether in dailies or even

28:57

eliminations. So I think you'll probably get a little

28:59

bit of both. And I think

29:01

with a cast of 40 and a cast that's so good, you're going

29:03

to lose people that you love every week. And it's kind of the

29:05

gift and the curse of it. All right,

29:08

another break to hear from our sponsors. We'll come back with

29:10

some more of your questions. These are great questions. I love

29:12

answering them. I'm so pumped for season 40. And

29:15

by the way, season 40, Battle of the Eras.

29:18

Last year when I went to the Eras tour, this is

29:20

a shameless plug, I did Taylor Mania. I did about 90

29:23

minutes talking about Taylor Swift, her career, my experience at the

29:25

Eras tour. I know a lot of people are going now.

29:27

This year she's re-upped and she's doing, right

29:29

now she's in the UK, but she's traveling internationally. And

29:32

then I think coming back to New Orleans and Miami

29:34

and some other Toronto, North

29:36

American stops. So if you are

29:38

a Taylor Swift band, if you are a Swiftie, or if

29:40

you just want to hear me talk about Taylor Swift for

29:43

90 minutes, go and search Taylor Mania on the Challenge Mania

29:45

podcast feed and check that out. So topical,

29:47

top of mind with the Eras season coming at us

29:49

here at Challenge Mania. So all right, another break to

29:51

hear from our sponsors. And then I will come back

29:53

and round out the rest of these questions. Oh,

30:00

hey! We're invited to the Johnson Summer

30:02

Pool Party this Saturday. I said we'd

30:04

bring our famous potato salad. Oh, Saturday?

30:06

But that's when the Blinds guy's coming

30:08

to give us a quote. Those appointments

30:10

take forever! Oh, yeah, I meant

30:12

to tell you. I already found everything we

30:15

need at blinds.com. They're totally online, so we

30:17

don't have to wait around all day just

30:19

to get a quote. I talked to a

30:21

blinds.com designer, and they're sending us free samples.

30:24

Oh, Blinds.com? I've heard of them.

30:26

Yeah, they've been around for over 25

30:28

years, but not everyone knows they can

30:30

also handle the measuring and installation for

30:32

a fraction of what the other guys

30:34

charge. Plus, they have a 100% satisfaction

30:37

guarantee. Well,

30:39

blinds.com sounds like a no-brainer. Guess

30:42

I'll cancel. Already done. That gives you

time to make the potato salad. Ah,

32:19

Company in affiliates Northbrook, Illinois. Alright,

32:28

we got a lot of great questions from

32:30

you guys over at challengemaniacs.com. Next one is

32:32

Alex. Alex says, I'm looking forward to seeing

32:34

Derek Chavez, that is, and Ryan Keough on

32:36

the flagship. I learned from

32:38

watching other cast members on the challenge Allstars 4.

32:42

Some cast members may not look intimidating, but

32:44

don't let your eyes be fooled. Any

32:46

cast may surprise you on the challenge.

32:49

So which cast from different eras will

32:51

surprise you? Well, I'll

32:53

call out some people who... there's room for two surprises,

32:55

I think. I'll

32:58

throw out some names that I think are

33:00

kind of being glossed over, alright? And

33:02

I don't think there's an easy out on this entire cast.

33:04

So I'm going to go season by season and tell you

33:07

what I think kind of the sleeper is. In

33:10

Era 1, you know, I think on the female side you

33:12

got a lot of big personalities with some of the women,

33:14

with your Katie's and your Tina's. I do think a lot

33:16

of people are kind of glossing over them, but in the

33:18

process, I think people are kind of forgetting about Jodie here.

33:21

So I think, you know, obviously a lot of people are talking

33:23

about Rachel, a lot of people are talking about Anissa, but for

33:26

me, I think Jodie, not

33:28

to surprise you in that Jodie is obviously a beast. She's

33:30

got the wins to back it up, two wins, most

33:33

recently played on that global championship season. But I just

33:35

think people are forgetting her and not really putting her

33:37

in the category with some of these other stronger women.

33:40

On Era 2, we talked about it. We know they've got

33:43

strong women over there, but I think some of the guys,

33:45

as you mentioned, Alex, you mentioned some of these guys, have

33:47

a lot of room to impress here and

33:49

surprise us. And those three

33:52

guys are Brandon Nelson, Ryan

33:54

Kehoe, and Mr. Derek

33:56

Chavez. Now, Derek Chavez, you might be saying, just

33:58

made the final. How could he surprise us? Is he just surprises?

34:00

Is he gonna ride the wave? Maybe. Another

34:03

guy here, I just glossed over myself, Nehemiah Clark.

34:05

Do not forget about Nehemiah Clark. Last time we

34:07

saw him, he was taking Derek out on All-Stars

34:09

3. So he's an elimination beast that I think

34:12

is underrated at this point. And then Johnny Bananas,

34:14

of course, I think is getting most

34:16

of the headlines on that era and rightfully so. On

34:20

Era 3, I mean look, Amanda Garcia always has room

34:22

to surprise this. Maybe this is the season she finally

34:24

gets it done. Avery, I think, a lot of people

34:27

are sleeping on her. And on the male end, I

34:29

gotta go with my man Tony Reigns. Tony time Reigns,

34:31

if you've seen these photos, this guy is posting thirst

34:33

traps left and right. I'm kidding, they're not thirst traps,

34:35

but maybe they are, who knows. He's working out with

34:38

his shirt off, he looks absolutely fucking stacked. So if

34:40

that's how he went into season 40, look out. I

34:42

think he could win the whole thing. And

34:44

then Era 4, I mean look, I

34:47

think every season he goes out there, Josh

34:49

has room to surprise us because I do

34:51

think people don't have the highest regard. Oh,

34:53

and by the way, I missed it before

34:56

when I was talking about females and wins

34:58

in Era 4, I had forgotten about Jenny

35:00

West. So Jenny West and also Casey Clark

35:02

are holding it down with the championship representation

35:04

in Era 4. So obviously, they're not sneaking

35:07

up on anybody with those championship trophies that

35:09

they hoist. But on this side, I'm going

35:11

to say Michelle Fitzgerald, don't sleep on her

35:13

as always. And also don't sleep on my

35:15

man Josh Martinez. Okay, Meredith

35:18

says, because I'm obsessed and also a

35:20

spoiler avoider was Evelyn contacted. I really

35:22

just want her back on my TV

35:24

screen. Hey, here's what I'll say about Evelyn.

35:26

She doesn't seem to have any interest in doing the show. And

35:29

again, this is part of the reason I think you're

35:32

not seeing many other than Aviv. People

35:35

kind of turn up for the first time

35:37

on this and why they turn up on all stars

35:39

is that when you look

35:41

at the labyrinth of sort of coordination,

35:44

they had to do to not just

35:46

make sure they had five guys and

35:49

five females for every era, but

35:51

the five guys and the five gals

35:54

that you want to see that most

35:56

represent sort of competitively the last whatever

35:58

it is 40. of the challenge or

36:00

how many years, 26 years of the challenge. Also

36:04

as I said keeping up with their diversity

36:06

initiative. And I just think like do

36:08

they need to waste the time and

36:11

the sweat equity to try to talk

36:13

Evelyn into doing this when they've got

36:15

Tina and Katie and Anissa and

36:17

Rachel and when you got Jodie and when

36:19

you could probably slot in Veronica. And so

36:22

I just don't think this is the season

36:24

to really go out of your way to

36:26

really you know try

36:28

to get Evelyn in there. I just don't. Especially how

36:30

long it's going to be and this and that and

36:32

the other thing. And the same goes for some of

36:34

the males as well. People add

36:36

that I need to try to get her to come to Challenge Mania

36:38

Live. Look I would love to. I'd love to

36:40

have her on the podcast. So Derek checks in every now

36:42

and then. We kick the tires on it. We try to

36:44

do our best. Hopefully we can get her on the show

36:46

at some point. But she has definitely moved on in life.

36:49

And look this is I mean look a

36:51

lot of you guys are super nice and sweet. But

36:53

on Reddit and even Twitter you know how this fanbase

36:55

can get. And so I do think that a lot

36:57

of people like a clean break from it if

36:59

possible. And once you're back in you know you're

37:01

fair game for people to say whatever they want

37:03

to you directly or about you. And look people

37:05

people can be mean and malicious. So when you're

37:07

out there working especially in politics like she does

37:10

sometimes it's best to just leave that stuff in

37:12

the past. So Sir Darren

37:14

says this is more of a Challenge Mania Live related question.

37:16

But if you ever had a guest that was unable to

37:18

come or cancel last minute are you able to say who.

37:20

Yeah I mean look we've done I think 50 shows or

37:22

so. I don't even know how many and you could throw

37:24

in the parties to. This has happened a ton. Derek himself

37:27

had to pull out of our first St. Louis

37:30

event because he got COVID right before. Kahutah

37:32

had to miss our first Atlanta show on

37:34

about 24 hours notice because of a death

37:36

in the family. Luckily Jemmy was able to

37:38

slot in. Jemmy herself canceled on the side

37:41

roast the day before again for personal reasons.

37:44

Davon I know canceled on our first LA show. I was

37:46

so excited to see Davon there and then she had to

37:48

cancel. I forget the reason. I think again it was some

37:50

sort of a family reason. But I know it was short

37:52

notice. Luckily we had a stacked lineup for that. So when

37:55

it's such short notice that we can't call on a replacement we

37:58

just hope that the lineup is stacked enough we're losing one. network.

46:32

Alright,

46:35

last batch of questions. I'm going to try to

46:37

breeze through these here. Alright,

46:39

Paul says, what team do you think will be the

46:41

most cohesive? What team do you think will be the

46:43

most dysfunctional? I think ERA 2 will be dysfunctional as

46:45

hell. ERA 3, once they get rid of Amanda, will

46:47

be the most cohesive. I'm not just trying to make

46:49

this a short answer. I agree. I don't

46:52

agree necessarily about the Amanda thing. I think Amanda will

46:54

keep herself in check and do what's best for the

46:56

team and for herself. So I say ERA 3 or

46:58

ERA 4 will be the most cohesive and I think

47:02

ERA 1 will be cohesive actually. That's not

47:04

true. So I'm actually going to go ERA 1.

47:06

They look like all 10 best friends. So I'm going

47:08

to go ERA 1 most cohesive, least cohesive or most

47:10

dysfunctional. I agree will be ERA 2. Guido

47:14

Sarducci says, do you think we'll be getting an

47:16

individual winner or team winner? Do you think we

47:18

will get fan favorite dailies and eliminations? I do

47:20

think they will dust off some of the fan

47:22

favorite dailies and eliminations and as

47:25

far as the team, I think we're getting a team

47:27

winner. I think we'll get like, you know, the winner

47:29

is, you know, these couple left over from, until I

47:32

hear otherwise, I think we'll probably, it's gonna be the

47:34

last few people from an ERA end up winning the

47:36

thing. I think, who knows, maybe we go individual as

47:38

well. Either way, I think we're getting multiple winners. I

47:40

don't think we're getting just one person to rule them

47:42

all. I think we'll at very least have a top

47:45

male, top female, I think. And my fingers are crossed because

47:47

you know how I hate it when we don't do that.

47:50

Ryan Clement says, do you think this will be

47:52

the final appearance for a lot of these people

47:54

like one final hurrah and the season 41 cast

47:56

looks more like season 39. I

47:58

do think that a lot of these people from season 40,

48:01

even some of the vets will get

48:03

future calls for, you know, All-Stars 5,

48:05

season 41, etc. I do think

48:07

though they will be playing alongside people from

48:09

seasons 37, 38, 39, who

48:11

again there just wasn't room for on this type

48:13

of format but those people will definitely get re-interjected

48:16

back into the fold and I do

48:18

think you probably look back on season 40 and say it's

48:20

the last time we saw some of these people on MTV

48:22

and on the flagship but I think that's what All-Stars is

48:24

for. But I do think they will

48:26

call some of these people back especially the people like

48:28

I said who get involved in relationships and altercations

48:31

and, you know, spur rivalries and do very

48:33

well and win the season and things like

48:35

that. Prove they can still

48:37

do it physically. Marie says, what do

48:40

you think each era's weakness and strength

48:42

will be i.e. social, physical, mental, strategic,

48:44

etc. I hate to say it

48:46

I think season I think era one is probably gonna be

48:48

physical. I think they'll have the

48:50

social game down, I think they'll have the mental game down,

48:52

strategic game on fleek, but I think for some of them

48:54

I'm gonna go physical. I

48:57

think socially, you know, again,

48:59

socially and mental and strategic I think it can be

49:01

their strong suit. I'm going with eras 3 and 4.

49:03

If they decide to work together

49:05

I think they can really have a numbers advantage

49:07

based on how much crossover there is between

49:09

eras 3 and 4 but also could be

49:11

their downside because when you look at some

49:13

of the people on some of these these

49:16

are some fresh ripe rivalries especially I'm looking

49:18

at Nerese and Olivia and things

49:20

like that. Theo and Paulie so I'm

49:22

gonna go with era 4 there too and

49:26

then Paul says recently they've been filming as

49:28

a season errors. Do you think the fact

49:30

that we haven't heard about season 41 is

49:32

concerning? Could the challenge soon join the pile

49:34

of many cancelled BMP shows? No

49:37

I mean they're filming All-Stars 5 now we know we're

49:39

getting that and I've heard rumors that season 41 is

49:42

filming as early as the fall so the fact

49:44

that we haven't heard about season 41 I've heard

49:46

about season 41 I know people have gotten availability

49:48

checks and I think they're filming in the fall

49:50

so you heard it here first. Scott Yeager says

49:52

season 41 is coming probably filming in the fall

49:55

you can run with that if you want.

49:57

Paul says if Heddles organized a challenge trivia

49:59

game between you and Derek in the off season, who wins?

50:03

Tough call. We both have our blind

50:05

spots. He obviously lived a lot of this. So

50:07

he remembers a lot of things that I don't necessarily

50:10

remember, maybe with some of the newer stuff.

50:12

I have a better idea. So it's

50:14

a tough call. I'm going to say Derek. Because I'm

50:16

not a big, I don't pride myself on being a big

50:18

challenge trivia guy, to be honest with

50:21

you. It's not like I sit there and try to

50:23

re-familiarize myself with stats or anything, or season numbers and

50:25

whatnot. Mr. Blue says, how would you

50:27

rank the errors? So

50:31

ranking them as a whole, just

50:34

as far as, I mean, I'm going to say I got to

50:36

go error one. Now, I'm going to go just

50:38

as like, I think

50:40

it's got to be one, three, two,

50:42

four. I'm

50:45

going to rank them in that way. You could take

50:47

them however you want it. That's my rankings. Mr.

50:50

Blue says, who are you most excited to see? And

50:52

who are the top five individual players, not legacy wise,

50:54

but going into the season? Wow. Not

50:57

legacy wise. So going into the season. So

50:59

not legacy wise. With

51:01

the guys, look, it is hard to

51:03

not say, man, all right. It

51:06

is hard not to say Jordan, Johnny, and CT.

51:10

And legacy plays a part, but it's hard not to say them. And

51:12

then I'll throw in a couple of non-legacy guys here. Theo

51:15

and Aracio, I think, are up there, regardless of legacy.

51:17

Because like I said, those guys don't even have wins.

51:20

On the female end, legacy plays a

51:22

part, but these are also women that are

51:24

still really in their prime. And that is

51:27

Cara, Laurel, Tori, Emily, Shrom. I'm going

51:29

to put in there as the four. And

51:31

then I'm going to throw Jenny, Wes, and Casey in there, too.

51:33

I know that's six, but pick your poison. Brittany

51:37

says, best ways to watch it live without

51:39

cable. Looks like MTV no longer gets it.

51:41

Yeah, so a lot of people do YouTube

51:43

TV. And I know a lot of people also

51:45

just purchase it on Amazon or iTunes and watch it a day later

51:47

on there. Brittany says, do you think

51:49

they'll bring in a lot of past dailies or eliminations? If

51:52

so, any you're hoping to see? Yeah, I'm hoping to see

51:54

balls in. Hall brawl, pole

51:56

wrestle, and I do think they'll bring

51:58

those in. And I'm over. trivia by

52:00

the way. I'm dumb officially over trivia. Ben

52:03

Mann says rank one through four both men

52:05

and women's teams from the four eras meaning

52:08

which team has the best men, second best,

52:10

blah blah blah, and so on. Okay. So

52:13

for the men

52:16

I'm going to

52:18

say, well I'm actually

52:20

gonna say three. I'm gonna

52:22

say three as the best men. I'm gonna

52:24

go three, then one, then

52:27

three, then one, then four, then two. For

52:32

the females I'm gonna say

52:34

era, yeah I'm

52:36

gonna say era two, then I'm

52:38

gonna say era three, then I'm

52:41

gonna say era four,

52:43

then I'm gonna say era one. That's

52:45

what I'm gonna go for the females. And

52:49

all right, here

52:52

we go. All right. Paul

52:54

again, competitively, what one man and one woman do

52:56

you think is the weak link for their respective

52:59

teams? Here, I know this sounds like I'm dodging

53:01

this, but you're saying competitively,

53:03

but for instance, look, I know Paul

53:05

because I read all your Facebook comments,

53:08

you're not very high on Anissa. Even

53:10

if you consider Anissa the quote unquote

53:12

weak link physically, Anissa's connections and social

53:14

game with people in eras two, three,

53:17

and four could be the strongest asset

53:19

when all is said and done depending

53:21

on the format that era one could

53:24

ask for. So I'm not gonna say

53:26

that. It's hard for me to say,

53:29

but no, I'm not gonna necessarily pick a

53:31

weakest link. I think you go

53:33

through these and I do think there are people

53:35

who, you mentioned some of them before that haven't

53:37

necessarily gotten it done with

53:39

all the finals appearances and things like

53:42

that, Josh's and Amanda's and things like

53:44

that. But again, what they make up

53:46

for with that is their social game

53:49

that transcends their era because of the ways

53:51

that especially eras three and four are spread

53:53

out. And you've got

53:55

Amanda in era three, but very much, you

53:57

know, knows people in era four and by

54:00

Verso with Josh as well and

54:02

that quote-unquote vacation alliance. So look depending on what

54:04

the format of this game is We just saw

54:06

a very janky format on all-stars 4 if it's

54:08

something similar here Those social relationships are as important

54:10

as how fast you can get up a mountain

54:12

I'll tell you that or how much shit you

54:15

can carry Paul

54:18

says since this is the errors tour season

54:20

could we call 39 the errors tour season

54:22

shout out to Dave Grohl Yeah, Dave Grohl

54:24

not ill-advised comments about Taylor Swift recently and

54:26

I love Dave Grohl be seeing them in

54:30

We're not seeing them personally. We're going to see Foo Fighters

54:32

live in Portland. So but yeah, you know,

54:34

you'll go after Taylor. Come on, Dave Paul

54:39

again drew from survivor 45 just won a five straight

54:41

on Jeopardy, which is a big deal What challenger do

54:43

you think would do the best at Jeopardy? Do you

54:45

think they could win? No, I don't I don't know

54:47

that anyone Is that smart? However,

54:50

some names to jump out

54:52

at me Steve Mankie, maybe

54:54

Devin maybe But yeah, Jeff Jeopardy is

54:56

tough man I mean almost I think it's more impressive

54:59

what he's done in Jeopardy than if he had one

55:01

survivor and he did make final tribal on survivor to

55:05

Brittany says Scott if you could

55:07

choose a walkout song for each of the

55:09

eras which song would you choose for era

55:11

one? I'm going with Thunderstruck by AC DC

55:14

for era two. I'm going seven nation army

55:16

by White stripes for

55:18

era three. I'm going heathens by 21

55:21

pilots and for era

55:23

four I'm going up by Cardi B Brittany

55:27

again, is this the first season of the flagship where there

55:29

are absolutely no rookies? I'll ask John Heddles to back me

55:31

up on this, but it is very possible. I think it

55:33

might be And

55:36

I love that by the way very fitting for season 40. Mr.

55:39

Blue. Why do you think Evelyn won't do the

55:41

challenge? I can't find any podcasts

55:43

or interviews anywhere of her. Do you know

55:45

why that is? Yeah she left the game and

55:47

she's in politics and I think she just
