<b><font color='#000000'>you were never going to have money.</font></b> <b><font color='#000000'>Even society was telling me these things.</font></b>

<b><font color='#000000'>People around me were</font></b> <b><font color='#000000'>telling me these things.</font></b> <b><font color='#000000'>So much so that I started believing it</font></b>

<b><font color='#000000'>and I brought it into adulthood.</font></b> <b><font color='#000000'>And, you know, again,</font></b>

<b><font color='#000000'>in the field for 20 years was $43,000.</font></b>

<b><font color='#000000'>For a long time, I</font></b> <b><font color='#000000'>thought that was golden.</font></b>

<b><font color='#000000'>Come to find out, it really isn't.</font></b> <b><font color='#000000'>I was barely able to make ends meet.</font></b>

<b><font color='#000000'>I had two kids. I have two kids.</font></b>

<b><font color='#000000'>One is-- well, both of them,</font></b> <b><font color='#000000'>excuse me, are special needs.</font></b>

<b><font color='#000000'>The oldest is autistic. She also has</font></b> <b><font color='#000000'>mental health disorder.</font></b>

<b><font color='#000000'>It was just so much</font></b>

<b><font color='#000000'>trying to make ends meet.</font></b>

<b><font color='#000000'>When I was let go and I made the decision</font></b>

<b><font color='#000000'>I wasn't going back to corporate,</font></b> <b><font color='#000000'>I was on food stamps, I had to have my</font></b>

<b><font color='#000000'>vehicle repossessed yet again.</font></b>

<b><font color='#000000'>Before that, just so you</font></b> <b><font color='#000000'>understand how I know and get this,</font></b>

<b><font color='#000000'>50, so even before I turned 43,</font></b>

<b><font color='#000000'>in that timeframe, I had</font></b>

<b><font color='#000000'>filed Chapter 7 bankruptcy,</font></b>

<b><font color='#000000'>been through two</font></b> <b><font color='#000000'>foreclosures, a short sale as well,</font></b>

<b><font color='#000000'>and had several</font></b> <b><font color='#000000'>repossessions over my entire life.</font></b>

<b><font color='#000000'>Because one, I didn't</font></b>

<b><font color='#000000'>know how to manage money.</font></b> <b><font color='#000000'>I was never taught it.</font></b>

<b><font color='#000000'>Again, some things</font></b> <b><font color='#000000'>were out of my control.</font></b>

<b><font color='#000000'>Some things were from the</font></b> <b><font color='#000000'>housing market crashing.</font></b>

<b><font color='#000000'>Some things were for the</font></b> <b><font color='#000000'>fiber optic market crashing.</font></b>

<b><font color='#000000'>Again, I also didn't have a really good</font></b>

<b><font color='#000000'>relationship with money</font></b> <b><font color='#000000'>to help me get through those things.</font></b>

<b><font color='#000000'>worked on my money mindset.</font></b> <b><font color='#000000'>I figured out where my</font></b>

<b><font color='#000000'>money beliefs are coming from,</font></b> <b><font color='#000000'>and I changed my money story.</font></b>

<b><font color='#000000'>When I started my</font></b> <b><font color='#000000'>business while on food stamps,</font></b>

<b><font color='#000000'>I remember someone,</font></b> <b><font color='#000000'>several people telling me,</font></b> <b><font color='#000000'>"Well, that's it. Once</font></b>

<b><font color='#000000'>you're on food stamps,</font></b> <b><font color='#000000'>you're always going to be on it. You're</font></b> <b><font color='#000000'>never going to get off."</font></b>

<b><font color='#000000'>I was thinking, "Well, that's just not</font></b> <b><font color='#000000'>really nice to say to somebody."</font></b>

<b><font color='#000000'>And yet, several people said it to me.</font></b>

<b><font color='#000000'>But I was determined because I didn't</font></b> <b><font color='#000000'>want to go back to corporate</font></b>

<b><font color='#000000'>where there's</font></b> <b><font color='#000000'>migraines and tension headaches</font></b> <b><font color='#000000'>and feeling like I was</font></b>

<b><font color='#000000'>never seeing my kids.</font></b> <b><font color='#000000'>So I was like, "You know what? If I'm</font></b>

<b><font color='#000000'>barely going to make ends meet,</font></b> <b><font color='#000000'>it'll be on my terms."</font></b>

<b><font color='#000000'>Well, within that</font></b> <b><font color='#000000'>first year, I grew a lot.</font></b>

<b><font color='#000000'>And I was still feeling broke,</font></b>

<b><font color='#000000'>and that was because I didn't have that</font></b>

<b><font color='#000000'>good relationship with money.</font></b> <b><font color='#000000'>So I worked on my money mindset.</font></b>

<b><font color='#000000'>I worked on my money management,</font></b> <b><font color='#000000'>and I figured out why traditional</font></b>

<b><font color='#000000'>budgeting didn't work.</font></b> <b><font color='#000000'>And I figured out what was</font></b>

<b><font color='#000000'>going on with my money mindset.</font></b> <b><font color='#000000'>Again, it was the money stories.</font></b>
