RATING
This is a cool idea with a disappointing execution. We never got to know these characters, so when this story hit emotional beats where big grand secrets are revealed, they didn’t feel earned. And I saw the big twist coming a mile away, which would’ve been fine if we’d gotten deep explorations of interesting characters, but these characters unfortunately felt like they were just there to hit beats on a story outline, and not because they were organically moving through a rich story universe. My biggest positive is I liked Julianne Moore and Oscar Isaac’s embodiment of these characters, and I hope they both do more audio dramas in the future.
Great acting and interesting storyline, especially following real world events. Highly recommend and a timely piece of fiction!
Rating - 8/10A really impressive short run spotify original production. Exremely short episodes but does the job well of delivering the plot. Season 1 was absolutely engaging and suspenseful. Season 2 did not live upto what Season 1 did, the plot gets extremely confusing and may require relistens to have an understanding of what is happening. While the show concludes in season 2, the ending felt abrupt as if a desperate attempt to wrap it all up.Note: These are only my amateur personal review ratings/thoughts, you are welcome to have your own opinions.
Intriguing plot and excellent acting. Makes you worry, again, about the pandemic though. Still, I hope there's a third season!
Rivetting! Great cast too.
At an average of 10 minutes per episode, this was a short and snappy show with plenty of hooks.I will give season 2 a listen if they release it but I'm not holding out for it after the disaster that was Borrasca season 2.
Interesting if inscrutable time travel story.
This is a great one. Was astonished by the production quality, actors, plot and twists. Was recommending to all my friends and will recommend to you, dead reader of this comment.
Season 1, Went through this in two days. It so was good. Season 2, was absolutely brilliant.
Love, love, love! Science fiction, amazing acting and a crazy story. I can listen to this over and over and never get tired of it (and I do!)
Time-traveller or crazy is the premise and unpacking it with a voice cast featuring Oscar Issac and Juliane Moore takes a time-worn trope up a notch. Strong Twelve Monkeys meets Twilight Zone meets K-Pax vibes as Case 63 weaves its own tale reminding you of all the above. It's one that resolves enough to be a wrap at just one season but with room for a grander story to grow. The later might just have to happen in your own mind.
