I've heard Dr Allen on a few shows now, and this was the one where he convinced me. I come from the same position as Jamilah Lemieux's, and I have never thought that we had the virus under control enough to safely open schools. Now I see that the reopening argument isn't so much about ignoring the risks as it is about prioritizing schools above, say, bars and gyms. I agree that we need to make schools safe for education -- and everything else they do -- before we focus on the rest of the economy.
