Tajette O’Halloran is an Australian photographer from Melbourne, who’s work centres around her immediate family and the complexities of relationships in Australia’s suburban landscapes.
Her work has been exhibited extensively both nationally and internationally and has been awarded and short-listed for a number of photography awards, including the British Journal of Photography Portrait of Humanity Award, the Doug Moran Portrait Prize, and the William & Winifred Bowness Photography Prize.
In this episode Tajette chats to Jarrad about how building your own body of work can lead to unexpected opportunities, the story behind one of her biggest shoots, and how the lockdown in Victoria affected the way she approaches her creative work.
