Main Point: God allows us to wrestle in life, even with him, for our good and his glory.

  -Jacob prays for God's deliverance (9-12)

  -Jacob prepares for Esau's arrival (13-21)

2. Jacob Wrestles With God (22-32)

  -Jacob is alone (22-24a)

  -Jacob wrestles with God (24b-25)

  -Jacob receives God's blessing (26-29)

  -Jacob is forever changed (30-32)
