A study on bmj.com raises raises concerns over possible “subjective bias owing to racial discrimination” in the MRCGP - the Royal College of General Practitioner''s postgraduate exams required to become a registered GP in the UK. Aneez Esmail, professor of primary care at the University of Manchester and the paper's lead author, explains the background to the study and its findings.
