Episode 51:
It’s now no secret that even pediatric and adolescent patients can struggle with anxiety, depression and suicidal thoughts. How can we address this in practice? Some of us work with pediatrics on a regular basis, and some of us do not. It's important to remember though that ALL of us should all know how to act when time is of the essence in a case like this. In this episode, we'll discuss how to identify the risk of pediatric suicidal thoughts/attempts, how to respond in the moment, and how to plan for the next time. Sometimes the most important discussions can be the most difficult.
