Before we get into this episode's discussions, I just want to remind fans of our Star Wars Time podcast that it will eventually be moving over to StarWarsTime.net, which means it'll have new links for iTunes, Google, etc. We will let everyone know when the final cutover happens, but I can tell you it is coming soon, so bookmark SWT above to make sure you don't miss out. Alright, so this week we start things off with a tangent and get into some pretty deep cut type of Star Wars talk. We then move into our actual topics, which start with the almost confirmed castings of Pedro Pascal and Gina Carano in The Mandalorian. We first mention that the Pedro casting had been rumored weeks ago by the Making Star Wars team, and how indie sites never get credit after I believe Vanity Fair ran with the story well after MSW put out their initial report on Pedro. We also talk about the potential casting of Gina Carano in the project, so we discuss what role she may play, and if she'll be directly tied to Pedro's lead character. We also break down episode 7 of Star Wars Resistance to talk about its Easter eggs, and more exciting plot points. Basically, the show is turning out to be really good, so get on board already! Finally, we discuss how a few movie critics have been comparing J.K. Rowling's Wizarding World prequels to George's Star Wars prequels, which I support after watching Fantastic Beasts 2. She seems to be overly concerned with explaining things rather than telling interesting stories about new characters, which is a syndrome Lucas suffered on with the Prequels. You can watch and listen above through YouTube, or you can listen in below through our web player and Stitcher player (may need time to let it update to newest episode). Finally, you can always subscribe to the show via one of the available platforms below. Just remember that the Star Wars Time show will be moving over to its own feed, so you will have to subscribe to that when it is live. “Making you a better geek, one post at a time!”
