This is Michel Herszak with Berlin Robotics, and today’s episode is more of a personal mission and less about automation in Berlin. Today’s Podcast is about a company from Edmonton, Alberta.

Edmonton is a city within the province of Alberta. You may have heard about it if you are in oil and gas, or Maschine Learning. For instance, Rich Sutton, one of the founding fathers of Reinforcement Learning, calls Edmonton his home. He is a distinguished research scientist at DeepMind and a professor of computing science at the University of Alberta.

Richard Sutton inspires companies, scientists, developers and students from all around the globe to follow in his footsteps. One of those companies is StreamML. I am in touch with the founder John Murphy since 2012 and have seen what they accomplished since then.

John Murphy who is a serial entrepreneur wants to help combat CT-19 with StreamML. I agreed to this BR-special for one reason, I don’t have the necessary knowledge to fight CT-19 myself but I want to help and connect him with German speaking authorities.
