Directed by William Wyler from a screenplay by Charles MacArthur and Ben Hecht and starring Laurence Olivier, Merle Oberon, David Niven, Flora Robson, Geraldine Fitzgerald and Hugh Williams, Wuthering Heights is the earliest surviving film adaptation of Emily Brontë’s classic novel.
