Dissociative Identity Disorder (DID). DID used to be known as multiple personality disorder. Dissociative Identity Disorder (DID) is a disorder where an individual has multiple individuals or personalities within them. Often DID is developed from previous Trauma. Individuals with DID can sometimes have up to 100 different personalities within them. These personalities often vary in age and gender.  Often the individual has no recollection of the events that have taken place within the other personalities/ identities.
