Welp, this is it. Season one of House of The Dragon comes to an end. This show is better than it had any right to be, but the boys still have a few gripes about the final entry.
Brian thinks this is a 'whacky' episode. Doug thinks it is a 'crappy' episode. Either way, we're in for a good time talkin Episode 9, 'The Green Party.'
In the debut episode of House of the Dragon, Brain expresses his disgust at some of the show's choices, while Doug complains about wigs. All around good times!
We crawl back out of retirement for the first of several possible cash-grabs in the wake of Game of Throne ending. Will House of the Dragon be any good? The boys have thoughts....
Woof! I thought I was past caring, but the final episode elicits plenty of emotions from Brian and myself. We stumble accross the finish line as we review ‘The Irone Throne.’
The show continues to go off the rails in the second to last episode of the series, 'The Bells.' Most of the outcomes of this huge battle are fine, it is just the horrible way we arrive at the various destinations that is the problem. Also, a
Ah, the malaise of a life foolishly spent watching a TV show about dragons. Everything seems random, pointless, and unsatisfying....the music was nice.
Well, that was a spectacle, but it all felt rather ...empty. So..the good guys win, the bad guys are bad...because they just are. Maybe the last three episodes can redeem this show, but right now, Ian McShane seems to have had the right of it.
Bad news, Brian and Doug break up on this episode of the podcast. On the bright side, they both loved this episode of Game of Thrones, ‘A Knight of The Seven Kingdoms.’Also, we rated it 4.5 out of 5.0It is a 10 point scale…in .5 incremen
The wait is over as the first episode of season 8 is here. ‘Winterfell’ set the table for the upcoming season, but did it live up to the overwhelming hype?….no
Doug regales Brian with summaries of existing prophecies, some ridiculous theories, and a few predictions as we anticipated the final season of Game of Thrones.
Doug is joined by Jeff Van Dreason of the 'Greater Boston' podcast. Brian couldn't be bothered to show up for the season 7 recap, but it's addition by subtraction. Without Brian's dead weight, the episode really breathes.Anyways, enjoy it w
So after a season that asked us to turn off out brains in exchange for spectacle, only this episode lacked spectacle. Sure, some things happened, but no surprises, no emotionally crushing deaths, worst of all...no female nudity. ...and now
This one was bonkers. It's been said by better people than us, but this is Game of Thrones at its best and its worst right now. Undeniably epic and beautifully shot, the show keeps asking us to stretch our suspension of disbelief past the poi
The western theme continues as the "dirty dozen" of Westeros assembles. Cersei has a gross bun in the gross oven and turns of you be the king of...well, everything. Brian and Doug smash up episode 5 of season of Game of Throne, entitled 'East
Wow! We finally get to see full-grown dragons on the battlefield and it was spectacular. Not much to criticize on this episode....Who am I kidding? There is always something to criticize. This week, Doug and Brian tackle Season 7 Episode 4
