…i built a handmade wreath today…

… i watched after my one year old daughter today…

I can see the glow of the sun all the way low to the west just above the mountains and about where one of my elms sits beside the tall grey cedar fence.…watching how the snow melts or how our paths form in it.It’s hard to build a chicken coop……or raised beds……or even run saws in the workshop with a one year old in winter.I turn on an old thrift store lamp that I find charming……and go to the kitchen to top off my tea…

I’m a downright lover of junk yards…

And the way life does, it tossed me a new bone… plants…

A small house on a bigger lot, maybe not the end all be all…

7 months and we’ve planted an orchard….

… and irrigation systems

Tore a hole in the side of the house…

…for a sliding glass door…

…tore a wall out, installed a live edge bar…

…set up a workshop, and dreamed…

…in the tall grasses..
