Phenomenal podcast. One of the inspirations behind starting my own podcast, Knackers in the Breeze.

Probably my oldest podcast subscription to date. This might sound like damning with faint -- or no -- praise, but I think that moving to a monthly schedule has been good for the show. I find Helen and Olly's particular dynamic shines really well when it's not put out every week, and now that Olly's a grown-up presenter of grown-up shows, it's fun to hear him still be a childish dork.Neither of them have ever taken themselves too seriously, which makes them easy to like, and they've instinctively known from an early stage, how to use music and jingles to punctuate laughs.

At 400+ episodes and thousands of stories and conversations, Answer Me This established itself as a pillar of British podcasting. There have been countless 'friends sitting around a mic in someone's lounge' efforts over time, but Olly, Helen and Martin really nailed what made a good format. Funny and kooky where there's an opportunity for humour, common sense and sincerity when there's a need for advice, AMT offered a bit of everything. It was a staple of many people's podcast feeds and it is sadly missed, though the door has been left open for one-off returns. If you haven't already tuned in over the years, diving into the back catalogue would be a worthwhile and enjoyable experience.
