Come with us as we explore some of Southwestern Colorado’s antiquities, a presentation of Mesa Verde Country. Our 2nd trip will focus on the northern section of the Canyons of the Ancient National Monument including Lowry Pueblo and Sand Canyon Pueblo, and other highlights of the area. We’ll also take a look at the 1906 antiquities act, landmark legislation that gives the president of United States authority to set aside tracks of the land with historic and cultural properties as national monuments.
