Iancu v. Brunetti was argued before the Supreme Court of the United States on April 15th, 2019. The opinion of the Court was released on June 24th, 2019 and can be found here. The Court ruled in favor of Brunetti in a 6-3 vote. Justice Kagan wrote the opinion of the Court in which Justices Thomas, Alito, Kavanaugh, Ginsburg and Gorsuch joined. Justice Alito wrote a concurring opinion. Chief Justice Roberts and Justice Breyer wrote opinions concurring in part and dissenting in part.
