Lecture by Allegra Burnette, MoMA at the ZKM_Lecture Hall, 6 p.m.

Allegra Burnette, Creative Director of Digital Media at the Museum of Modern Art in New York, will present MoMA’s online presence. At the forefront is the current diverse application of social media in museum operations, the impact they have on visitors and interested persons and how they are used by them. Following the lecture will be a discussion on how other art and culture institutions might possibly apply social media. Allegra Burnette’s appearance this evening is the result of an invitation from the ZKM | Institute for Visual Media, which has already had a productive exchange with MoMA’s Digital Media department for many years.
