This conversation was too delightful not to be shared; Julian’s description of the Castle as a main cast member illustrates the importance of settings/probes in projects. Sometimes, the break or make a project and the Castle is no difference. It is stamped with a Downtown Abbey Seal! Julian was asked if the king and Queen of England commonly visited other regions and stated at other people estates and the historical context of WWI creeped into his answer which I enjoyed learning about. It seems that fall of the Russian Imperial family and German monarchy influenced such estate visits by the King and Queen; they needed to be seen by the public outside of the pomp and circumstance and consequently such simple tasks of paying visits to various towns/estates were factored into increasing their popularity and preserving the monarchy for many generations to come.
