Episode Reviews

So I did a full relisten to all of this show today. And will be doing another one tomorrow. This episode still stands out to me in season one. There are some pretty tense things that happen and something is given a name for the first time here. Wondering what I mean? Not going to spoil it so maybe a re-listen is in order for everyone.

Januae tried to be clever, but considering things are escalating for him, being clever might not be enough anymore. Not going to spoil things, but things can always get worse for him. That title might be more than of a challenge than anything. Technically speaking, this show started with an episodic feel to it, but at this point, you start to feel a stronger undercurrent to the journal, holding it all together (i.e. the things can always get worse comment). It's a great balance of 'every episode matters' and 'if you don't have perfect recall, you're still welcome here.'
