Darrell Barnes is a graduate of Minneapolis Media Institute in Edina Minnesota and has worked as an audio engineer for over eleven years. He studied under Tom Tucker Sr, Prince's audio engineer for 15 years and worked with icons of the industry.

In addition to hosting and producing All Things Black, Darrell has lent his engineering talents to record bands, solo artists, and his own electronic music. His work with a solo hip-hop artist in Minneapolis lead to a hit record in the state. He has a passion for helping the community. His All Things Black podcast covers black experiences and life stories through the art of podcasting.
