Steve Rasnic Tem is an author of science fiction, horror, and other genres of dark speculative fiction.Rasnic Tem has published more than 200 works. His first novel, "Excavation," was published in 1986. He has received a British Fantasy Award, a World Fantasy Award, and a Bram Stoker Award nomination.Rasnic attended college at Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University, and also at Virginia Commonwealth University. He earned a B.A. in English education, then went on to study creative writing at Colorado State University.
